Responsible for executing sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP) for commodities, ensuring savings and supply risk management with a procurement spend of R400m - R500m.

You are responsible for the establishment and execution of sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFPs) for your respective commodity ensuring targeted savings are delivered and supply risks are mitigated. You have a detailed understanding of your commodity characteristics and Tiger Brands’ businesses. You configure and execute (e-)sourcing events and ensure a continuous supply of materials and services that meet the business operational need. You will manage a procurement spend of approx. R400m – R500m. 3 years experience and Diploma in ProcurementKey attributes and competencies
§Service management skills – ability to manage various service providers and drive efficiency
§Pragmatism – with an ability to think conceptually while maintaining a cost-conscious and practical approach to using time and resources
§Self-management – with attention to detail and strong ability to execute and follow-through
Experience
•Bachelor's or equivalent 3 year degree
•5+ years experience in strategic sourcing
•Experience in conducting complex RFP Processes
