About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at our FMIG Hawthorn clinic. The role is available on either a part-time or full-time basis depending on candidate preference.

The position will also require rotation through our Capital Radiology Camberwell and Malvern clinics.

Our clinics are filled with high performing teams and supported with up-to-date equipment within a modern clinical setting, the Sonographer will be responsible for the high-quality scanning our community trusts us to deliver.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates.
  • Responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal delivery of results with excellent customer service provisions.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework.
  • Provide feedback to other members of the clinic and operational teams to help identify training and development needs.
  • Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and /or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.

Selection Criteria

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Ultrasound
  • Skilled across a broad range of scanning competences, MSK in particular
  • 2+yrs of post qualified experience
  • Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR as well as a completion of an ASAR accredited course.
  • Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA, or equivalent provider.
  • A value driven attitude and work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to thrive in our team-oriented environment.
