Team Overview

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to join our growing MTA/MMM Data Science and Analytics team.
This role will report in to the Sr Manager - Data Science and Analytics.
The team supports cross-functional client engagements across industries, helping clients design and deploy TransUnion Marketing Solutions. Its work focuses on creating an evolving stream of value, enabling fact-based decision-making, and driving the adoption of Multi-Touch Attribution and related measurement technologies. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

 

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Understand customers’ business and technical requirements when implementing and configuring data integrations and transformation rules. 
  • Support the end-to-end deployment cycle, from post-sales planning and scoping through to model and user-interface delivery. 
  • Set up, validate, and diagnose ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) integrations using cloud and data-transformation applications. 
  • Configure, transform, and debug data pipelines connecting TransUnion, clients, and their data sources. 
  • Represent TransUnion’s measurement product suite with expertise and guide clients throughout delivery and implementation. 
  • Communicate directly with internal and external partners to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve potential data challenges. 
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritising effectively and maintaining high-quality delivery. 
  • Contribute to larger-scale projects and product-led initiatives that drive adoption, change, and innovation. 

 

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Marketing/Business, or related field / experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional and customer facing experience in quantitative analytics with marketing metrics. 
  • Experience working with large global accounts (>$1m ARR) advising clients on technology solutions, including solution design, delivery leadership, and relationship management.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients engagements simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and ensuring high quality delivery.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment and solve complex problems.
  • Advance level SQL skills with the ability to manipulate, join, and filter datasets efficiently.
  • Advance level Excel skills.
  • Advance level familiarity with Ad Server/Web Analytics data (Adobe/GA) is highly desirable.
  • Advance level understanding of ETL best practices and familiar with several forms of ETL methodologies/technologies.
  • Advance familiarity with database design.
  • Advance familiarity with data visualization and analytics (with a focus on tools such as PowerBI, Looker Studio, Tableau, Snowflake).
  • Advance familiarity with an issue/task management platform.
  • Novice familiarity with the AdTech/MarTech landscape; the advertisers, data providers, and tracking partners.
