We partner with some of the world's leading financial institutions to provide technology, infrastructure and investment operations that enable wealth management at scale.

We're looking for a talented Solution Consultant to join our growing Solution Consulting team. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you'll work directly with customers to define business outcomes, design innovative platform solutions, and lead transformation initiatives that deliver real value.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, influencing strategic decisions, and working at the intersection of business and technology, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As a Solution Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to FNZ clients, helping them shape propositions, optimise operating models and implement market-leading wealth management solutions.

Working closely with clients and internal delivery teams, you will be responsible for translating business objectives into platform solutions, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and successfully delivered.

You'll play a key role throughout the implementation lifecycle, from discovery and design through to configuration, testing, training and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consulting & Solution Design

  • Partner with clients to understand strategic objectives, business challenges and operational requirements.
  • Define and document business outcomes, requirements, solution designs and Target Operating Models (TOMs).
  • Challenge and refine project scope to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on FNZ platform capabilities and industry best practice.
  • Act as the solution owner for bespoke client requirements.

Platform & Implementation Expertise

  • Lead the FNZ Model Wealth Solution (MWS) configuration process for platform implementations.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed solution documentation.
  • Design platform integrations and operational workflows.
  • Support functional reviews, technical design discussions and handovers to development teams.
  • Verify defects and support successful solution delivery.

Business Transformation & Readiness

  • Advise clients on operating model design and transformation initiatives.
  • Support the definition of service models, business readiness activities and service level agreements.
  • Deliver customer training programmes and knowledge transfer workshops.
  • Help clients maximise the value of their investment in FNZ technology and services.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and junior colleagues.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and capability development.
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery, Operations, Business Readiness and Production Support teams.
  • Contribute to sales opportunities, solution sizing and new client engagements.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Experience working within a Business Analysis, Consulting, Solution Design or similar client-facing role.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyse and translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
  • Experience working in a delivery, consulting or transformation environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly analytical and commercially aware mindset.
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver outcomes in complex environments.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within wealth management, investments, pensions, life insurance or broader financial services.
  • Understanding of platform-based operating models and digital transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulation and the regulatory landscape.
  • Experience working with wealth technology platforms and investment operations.
  • Previous consulting or client advisory experience.

Why Join FNZ?

  • Work with some of the most recognised financial institutions globally.
  • Play a key role in delivering industry-leading wealth management solutions.
  • Gain exposure to large-scale transformation and platform implementation programmes.
  • Develop expertise across technology, consulting, operations and financial services.
  • Join a collaborative, innovative and high-performing global organisation.
  • Access excellent career development opportunities within a rapidly growing FinTech business.
