Project Requirements and Summary- Project focus: Functional and ticket testing, including documenting bugs, potential risks, and reporting test results.
- Project duration: 12 months.
- Location: This is a fully remote role for anyone in EMEA.
- Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday. Must have 3 to 4 overlapping hours with EDT.
- Must-have devices: Android or iOS mobile devices.
- Executing ticket testing on mobile (iOS & Android), web, and desktop platforms.
- Reproducing issues found during testing.
- Documenting and reporting test results, including bugs and potential risks. Clearly communicating findings to the development team and stakeholders.
- Working closely and directly with the client.
- Providing clear feedback about outdated, incomplete, or inefficient test cases.
- Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Software Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (such as Jira, BugZilla, TestRail, Xray, or similar).
- Exposure to accessibility testing and test automation frameworks or tools.
- Experience with mobile and web applications, frontend and backend testing.
- Proficiency in identifying and documenting software bugs and issues.
- Ability to solve basic technical tasks required during testing, such as test data generation, log capturing, and basic analysis, working with browser developer tools, network logs analyzers, etc.
- Experience working in agile teams in a remote environment - proven track record of communication and collaboration with stakeholders such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and others.
- Good understanding of SDLC.
- Experience with these primary testing categories: functional and regression testing.
