Project Requirements and Summary
  • Project focus: Functional and ticket testing, including documenting bugs, potential risks, and reporting test results.
  • Project duration: 12 months.
  • Location: This is a fully remote role for anyone in EMEA.
  • Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday. Must have 3 to 4 overlapping hours with EDT.
  • Must-have devices: Android or iOS mobile devices.
What would your day look like
  • Executing ticket testing on mobile (iOS & Android), web, and desktop platforms.
  • Reproducing issues found during testing.
  • Documenting and reporting test results, including bugs and potential risks. Clearly communicating findings to the development team and stakeholders.
  • Working closely and directly with the client.
  • Providing clear feedback about outdated, incomplete, or inefficient test cases.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
What do you need to succeed

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Software Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (such as Jira, BugZilla, TestRail, Xray, or similar).
  • Exposure to accessibility testing and test automation frameworks or tools.
  • Experience with mobile and web applications, frontend and backend testing.
  • Proficiency in identifying and documenting software bugs and issues.
  • Ability to solve basic technical tasks required during testing, such as test data generation, log capturing, and basic analysis, working with browser developer tools, network logs analyzers, etc.
  • Experience working in agile teams in a remote environment - proven track record of communication and collaboration with stakeholders such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and others.
  • Good understanding of SDLC.
  • Experience with these primary testing categories: functional and regression testing.

  • Curiosity and genuine interest in the field of software testing.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Drive to learn quickly and continuously expand knowledge.
  • Comfortable with a frequently changing environment and able to adapt quickly.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Fluid English writing and speaking skills, proactive self-starter with strong time management abilities.
  • Ability to create and document your work and processes, and provide reports.
  • Be a good team player, socially open-minded, empathetic, and considerate of cultural differences.
