As a Software Engineer in the Credit Technology team within the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will deliver best-in-class IT solutions to support Credit Trading. You will work in an agile environment, enhancing and designing software components for state-of-the-art technology products. You will execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting, gaining valuable experience and skills. Your contributions will help ensure our systems are secure, stable, and scalable. You will be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration.


Job responsibilities

•    Develop robust, performant pricing, trading, and risk systems by building and enriching applications with suitable technologies
•    Align development efforts with the overall Credit Trading strategy
•    Collaborate across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and handover
•    Interface pricing and analytic components in Python and Java with the QR team
•    Demonstrate bestpractices throughout the software development lifecycle, including testing, code review, status reporting, and focus on application resilience
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

•    Apply strong analytical development skills and understanding of computer science fundamentals
•    Develop solutions for real-time, resilient, high-performance, risk, pricing, and eTrading systems
•    Build and test applications using Python
•    Write tests, perform object modeling, and refactor code
•    Solve problems creatively and pragmatically, translating requirements into technical design and implementation
•    Manage priorities effectively, work collaboratively, and communicate clearly
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

•    Hold a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline
•    Demonstrate experience building highly performant and resilient enterprise applications in high-performance or real-time environments
•    Work effectively in teams with strong software development processes (build, test, deploy, etc.)
•    Develop applications in Java and work with relational database systems
•    Show interest in learning more about the Credit Business
