We're seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. Working in a collaborative, product-led environment, you'll help design, build and support the applications and services that underpin CFC's technology platform.

This is an opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, contribute to modern cloud-native solutions and play a key role in delivering products that have a direct impact on the business.

About the role
  • Design, develop and maintain applications using Angular and .NET/.NET Core technologies.
  • Build and enhance cloud-native services within Microsoft Azure.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design through to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure platform stability, performance and reliability.
  • Participate in agile delivery practices including refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to code reviews, pair programming and engineering best practices across the team.
  • Support the development of scalable, maintainable and secure solutions through strong testing and automation practices.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of quality, security and technical outcomes.

About you
You'll be a talented software engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment. You take ownership of your work, embrace continuous learning and are motivated by building technology that creates measurable business value.

You'll ideally bring:
  • Experience developing and supporting software solutions within an agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET and modern web application development.
  • Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Experience working within cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and data-driven application development.
  • Understanding of software design principles, development best practices and modern engineering approaches.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, automation and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Entity Framework and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
