The Decision Management Platform (DMP) Authentication Decisioning team delivers real-time authentication intelligence that helps protect consumers and businesses from fraud while improving the digital payment experience. The platform powers key Mastercard products including Identity Check, Smart Authentication, AAV Validation, and Token Provisioning Insights.
As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the development and operation of highly available, low-latency services that process authentication and decisioning requests at global scale. You will work closely with experienced engineers, architects, product managers, and SRE teams while expanding your technical expertise and ownership across the full software development lifecycle.

Participate in the design and implementation of APIs and microservices supporting authentication and decisioning workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by analysing logs, metrics, transaction flows, and service behaviour.
Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment activities.
Support ongoing maintenance activities including upgrades, configuration changes, and platform improvements.
Work closely with senior engineers to learn architectural patterns, distributed systems concepts, and operational best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and demos.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
