Job Responsibilities:
What you can expect
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, robust, and secure software solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production environments
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Break down complex tasks into actionable development work and allocate assignments to the team
  • Guide and mentor software engineers to improve their skills and productivity
  • Review code and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and maintainability
  • Conduct code and architecture reviews to maintain quality and engineering standards
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve software development efficiency
  • Acting as the bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, such as project managers, product managers, and clients

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering / software engineering / electrical engineering / computer science or equivalent
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in automotive software development
  • Deep understanding of the automotive environment and development processes in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems with real-time constraints and Python being a plus
  • Experience in design and development of Classic AUTOSAR SW components
  • Solid understanding of vehicle network protocols (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet)
  • Knowledge of ARM architecture and MCUs (e.g., Infineon, NXP, Renesas)
  • Experience with bootloaders, OTA updates, and UDS diagnostics
  • Experience with development tools like Vector CANoe, CANape, Lauterbach, Vector Davinci, Elektrobit Tresos
  • Experience in integrating and debugging embedded software on target hardware
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience leading a team of developers and delivering complex projects
  • Knowledge of automotive safety and quality standards: ISO 26262, ASPICE, MISRA C/C++
  • Able to work effectively in a global environment
  • Able to represent technical design topics internally and externally
  • Very good English language skills
