In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality software services and components, including system design (LLD), API design, and data modeling, that solve clearly defined customer and business problems.

  • Collaborate with peers, product, and design to break down requirements into technical solutions, estimate effort, and deliver incremental value through iterative development.

  • Write clean, readable, and maintainable code, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, and participate in code reviews to improve quality and share knowledge.

  • Operate and support the services you build by monitoring health, investigating production issues, and contributing to improvements in reliability, performance, and security.

  • Work across multiple domains or services as needed, learning new technologies and tools to contribute where the team and organization have the greatest need.

  • Safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve outcomes, including familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Professional software development experience, typically 2–5 years, building, testing, and maintaining production services or applications.

  • Experience owning features or components within a service or application, including implementation, testing, and operational support.

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ecosystem, with experience in system design (LLD), API design, and data modeling.

  • Familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and evolving services or components that operate at scale, with attention to performance, resilience, and observability.

  • Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership of a feature area or service, including participating in architectural discussions and driving improvements over time.

  • Strong focus on operational excellence, including improving deployment pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and incident response for owned services.

  • Experience using data and experimentation to inform technical decisions and validate impact, including analyzing metrics and logs to guide improvements.

  • Hands‑on exposure to integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications or workflows, such as using AI‑driven tools, SDKs, or APIs to enhance developer productivity or product functionality.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $119,000.00 to $166,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $190,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
