We are looking for someone who leads with empathy and values human connection over corporate checklists.

  •

  • Community Curiosity: You don’t just "engage" stakeholders; you listen to them. You have a knack for finding the right local charities and grassroots organizations that actually need our support.

  • A Genuine Voice: You are a natural at building bridges. Whether you are presenting to a client board or chatting with a local student about their future, you do it with warmth and clarity.

  • Humility and Initiative: You’re a self-starter who doesn’t need a hierarchy to get moving. You’re happy to lead when needed, but just as happy to support the team behind the scenes.

  • London Knowledge: You understand the unique fabric of our city and are passionate about seeing the built environment work better for everyone who lives here.

  • The Ability to Mobilize: You inspire our supply chain and consultant partners,  to get involved, making social value feel like a collective win rather than a contractual obligation.

Key Responsibilities: Turning Commitment into Outcome

Delivering Impact

  •

  • Translate Requirements: Turn client, contract, and planning requirements (e.g., PPN 06/20, TOMs) into local, achievable actions that deliver genuine community benefit.

  • Co-Design Plans: Partner with site teams to create project-specific social value plans aligned to local needs and delivery constraints.

  • Data with Integrity: Track KPIs and report on impact with a human touch, using data to find out what’s working so we can do more of it.

Building Partnerships

  • Community Roots: Develop and maintain relationships with charities, schools, colleges, and social enterprises across London.

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our supportive supply chain to maximize our collective reach.

  • Workshop Design: Create and lead workshops or programs specifically designed for young people or community groups.

Skills & Experience

  • Framework Knowledge: Strong understanding of social value frameworks but with the ability to apply them meaningfully, not just technically.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to write impact reports and tender contributions that tell a story.

  • Organization: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple live projects and deadlines with grit.

  • The Right Mindset: A creative problem-solver who prioritizes community needs above all else.
