Role Mission

We're looking for a creative Social Media Manager who understands what makes beauty content work on social. You'll play a key role in shaping the day-to-day social presence of one of the world's biggest beauty brands: developing content strategies, building industry defining calendars, spotting opportunities in culture and turning ideas into content at the speed of social.

You'll move confidently between developing a TikTok concept, briefing a creator, writing a caption, jumping into comments sections and digging into performance data to work out what we should do next.

You'll understand that great social isn't just about what we post, but how we show up and engage with the community around it. You'll work closely with creative, production, influencer and client teams to make sure we're not just showing up on social, we're creating content people actually want to watch, engage with, save and share.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of monthly social content calendars, contributing to social-first strategies that align with wider brand and campaign objectives.

  • Create platform-native content concepts, copy and reactive content, particularly for TikTok and Instagram, getting hands-on with filming, capturing and editing content when needed.

  • Stay ahead of beauty, fashion, entertainment and internet culture trends, identifying opportunities for the brand.

  • Brief and collaborate with creators, creative, design and production teams to deliver content and campaigns.

  • Use social analytics and audience insights to evaluate performance and turn learnings into actionable recommendations.

  • Support community management, engaging audiences authentically and identifying insights and content opportunities.

  • Lead/support client and stakeholder communication, including presentations, recommendations, feedback and approvals.

  • Monitor platform updates, emerging formats and creator trends, sharing best practices and driving social innovation.

Skills & experience

  • Previous experience in social media/content management, ideally within beauty, fashion, lifestyle or consumer brands.

  • Strong TikTok and Instagram expertise, with a deep understanding of platform-native content and internet culture.

  • Creative content development skills, including hands-on social content creation/editing and strong CapCut proficiency.

  • Excellent copywriting and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate brand messages into engaging social content.

  • Strong analytics, organisation and collaboration skills, including experience with social scheduling/management tools and cross-functional teams.

Benefits

  • Work your way — Flexible schedule, hybrid work, and the opportunity to work up to 3 weeks a year from any SAMY office around the world.

  • Time that matters — Celebrate your birthday with a day off, plus company holidays on December 24th and 31st to recharge.

  • Grow with us — Global mobility opportunities, mentorship, parenthood support, and a transparent performance-driven compensation framework.

  • Be part of the journey — Help shape our team through our referral program and enjoy a collaborative, social culture, backed by a transparent, performance-driven compensation framework that rewards impact and supports your growth.

  • Your well-being first – Enjoy peace of mind with unlimited holidays to recharge, and health coverage through MediCash.

The SAMY Mindset
Forget the job description for a second. The real question is: are you a Path Finder? Bold enough to challenge what's possible. Collaborative enough to build it together. Driven enough to make it happen.
We don't just hire for roles, we hire for mindset. We look for people who communicate with honesty, collaborate without ego, embrace change with energy, and take real ownership of what they build.
We're not looking for people who think the same, we're looking for people who want to grow with us.
Here's what it actually looks like to belong here:
Be Kind — because respect, trust, and honest feedback make great teams stronger.
Go Beyond — because good is never enough when excellence is the standard.
Craft Together — because the best ideas don't happen in silos.
Enjoy the Journey — because growth lives outside the comfort zone.
Own It — because real impact starts with accountability.
If this feels like your kind of adventure, let's build something together.

Diversity & Inclusion
At SAMY, difference is not something we accommodate, it's what makes us stronger.
With a team made up of 70% women and more than 35 different nationalities, our different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences challenge our thinking, sharpen our creativity, and push us to build better work, and a better company.
We are committed to creating an inclusive, accessible, and barrier-free environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive. And if you need support or adjustments along the way, we'll make sure you have what you need to do your best work.
