Biscuit, Zopa’s current account, is a major growth driver as we scale from hundreds of thousands to millions of customers. It also marks a sharper creative identity for the brand, giving us a platform that is smart, witty and culturally fluent.
Social is central to achieving this growth, helping us reach new audiences at an affordable CAC. Paid will drive efficiency, while organic builds trust and cultural relevance. Together, they will grow reach, drive conversion and make Biscuit a product people genuinely want in their wallet.
This role blends creative instinct, spotting trends early and shaping native, scroll stopping ideas, with operational excellence across paid and organic channels, test cycles and community reputation.
You will lead across both paid and organic, with paid a key priority for 2026, working closely with digital performance, marketing, creative, PR, compliance, analytics and product marketing. You will also oversee community management and step in for escalations when needed.

About the role
- Lead paid social strategy and ongoing performance optimisation across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Reddit
- Run creative test cycles, spot winning patterns quickly and drive continual improvement in performance
- Set the creative direction for social, ensuring content is platform native, culturally relevant and refreshed at the right pace
- Build a scalable creative system that maintains high output without compromising quality • Translate narrative strategy into effective paid testing frameworks that enhance both brand and performance
- Work closely with digital performance, analytics, marketing, creative, PR, compliance and product marketing to align on goals and insights
- Define the role of each social channel across paid and organic, shaping core, emerging and experimental activity
- Guide organic content direction to build trust, credibility and cultural relevance alongside acquisition goals
- Identify cultural signals and platform trends early and convert them into actionable opportunities
- Oversee community management, ensuring consistent, reputation safe engagement and managing escalations when needed
- Manage agency partners with clear briefs, high creative expectations and disciplined performance oversight
- Produce clear insights and narratives for weekly and monthly reviews, highlighting what is working and what needs to change
- Drive experimentation, evaluating new formats, channels and betas and deciding where to test and scale
About you
- Strong creative capability, with sharp platform intuition across Meta, TikToK, Reddit and more
- Able to instantly identify what makes content land, with an eye for behaviours, cultural shifts and emerging formats
- Commercially minded, with a solid understanding of CAC, CTR, CPM, conversion windows and creative decay
- Equally motivated by performance outcomes and brand personality
- Confident running paid social at scale, managing always-on and campaign cycles
- Experienced in briefing and holding agencies accountable, and comfortable making swift, calm optimisation decisions
- Hands-on knowledge of TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Ads, YouTube performance and mobile app campaigns
- Clear and confident communicator, able to translate data into compelling narrative
- Reputation aware, understanding the demands of regulated industries
- Experienced in social community management, escalation processes or crisis situations
Nice to haves
- Experience in fintech or other regulated sectors
- Ability to produce short-form video or direct creators
- Familiarity with AI tools for creative production
- Experience with social listening and publishing platforms such as Hootsuite

We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week.
