Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and skilled Content Specialist to capture and produce compelling, social-first content that highlights the vibrancy, milestones, and cultural moments across the London Stock Exchange.
This specialist will film, photograph, and edit content that showcases issuers, prospects, and key cultural events taking place. They will work closely with the Content Lead, Business Development, and Marketing teams to deliver high impact video and static content designed for digital channels.
This is a hands-on, production focused role for someone with strong technical ability and a passion for storytelling through video and visual media. This role requires experience in filming, editing and delivering social content on Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
Content Capture & Production
Capture events, client and prospect activities, and cultural highlights through video and photography, managing all on-site recording equipment.
Conduct interviews with clients, leaders, and partners, and edit the footage into polished, brand-aligned content ready for social media.
Publish the finished content across our social media channels.
Social‑First Content Packaging
Create short, fast-turnaround videos and stills optimised for platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
Develop engaging story angles tailored for each platform to maximise reach and engagement.
Ensure all content aligns with our brand tone, messaging, and compliance requirements.
Partnership & Collaboration
Work with the Content Lead and Business Development Managers to plan content capture throughout the year, aligning messaging with key company milestones in a social‑first way.
Collaborate with Marketing, Social Media, and Communications teams to amplify content and distribute it effectively.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to stay informed about upcoming events and messaging needs.
Planning & Workflow Management
Maintain an organised content pipeline by cataloguing and tagging footage for future use.
Assist in developing a content calendar aligned with market activity, client events, and cultural moments at the Exchange.
Streamline workflows for filming, editing, approvals, and distribution to ensure efficient content delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a videographer, content producer, or digital content creator, ideally within corporate, media, or agency environments.
Strong technical proficiency in video shooting (DSLR/mirror less cameras and iPhone, lighting and audio setup.
Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or equivalent)
Skilled in creating shortform, social optimised content‑form, social‑optimised content.
Hands on experience in creating and publishing across social media channels.
Strong attention to detail for visual storytelling, framing, sound, and pacing.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and turn projects around quickly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with executive and client facing interactions with executives.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with business and leadership stakeholders.
