The Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team supports Norton Rose Fulbright across Europe, the Middle and Asia (EMEA) to win profitable work and strengthen the firm’s brand.
The Social Media, Campaigns and Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, creating and executing campaigns across all media channels which target existing and prospective clients. You will have the opportunity to create interesting and insightful campaigns which engage clients and enhance our brand. In addition to campaigns, you will also be responsible for managing our social media strategy, both of which need to be integrated with our broader marketing plan. Previous experience in a campaign and marketing managerial position within a professional services organisation would be advantageous..
The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, developing and executing a social media strategy programme, both as an integrated aspect of wider campaigns and more generally to support marketing activity
- Implementing the EMEA social media strategy, educating, upskilling and training the business on the importance of social media as a key marketing channel
- Keeping abreast with market developments and products including important changes to social media algorithms
- Working with our practice and industry focussed groups to identify and develop marketing and campaign plans which support the firm’s business objectives
- Supporting our Responsible Business and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams on their key initiatives and key awareness days
- Working with all members of the marketing team, including events, to create and deliver campaigns which offer a mix of interesting and sustained client touchpoints
- Providing effective project management and execution of marketing campaigns
- Providing internal communication support for campaigns to raise awareness and create guidance and materials to assist fee earners with client outreach on key topics
Experience and expertise
The ideal candidate will have the following expertise and skills
- Senior MBD experience within professional services firm working internationally. (Essential)
- Experience of developing and implementing marketing plans to build profile and reputation
- Experience of running successful and impactful campaigns through multiple channels (Essential)
- A strong collaborator, bringing people together across offices and functions to work effectively in virtual teams.
- Experience of working on strategic social media work (Essential)
- Both strategic and pragmatic; working to deliver a long-term strategic plan while ensuring a regular delivery of practical improvements.
