About the role

We're looking for an experienced and creative Social Media & Brand Content Manager to join our Central Brand Team, reporting directly to the Head of Brand. Passionate about social media, you stay ahead of emerging trends and bring the expertise and confidence to establish best practice across multiple European markets. As the social media specialist within the Brand team, you'll proactively identify opportunities, recommend new ideas and lead initiatives that strengthen the Joybuy brand across Europe.

Working closely with local marketing teams, you'll develop engaging social content, campaign toolkits and creative assets that strengthen our brand. Alongside improving consistency across our channels, you'll help grow our social communities, increase customer engagement, amplify authentic customer voices and create content that drives more organic traffic to Joybuy. This role will work closely with the wider Brand Team, Integrated Marketing, Performance Marketing and local Social Media Managers across the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands.

What You Will do

Brand Social Strategy

  • Develop the European social media strategy from a Brand perspective, defining the role of each platform in building awareness, engagement and consideration.
  • Own the central Brand social media calendar, incorporating major campaigns, sponsorships and seasonal moments.
  • Identify emerging trends, formats and opportunities to continually improve Joybuy's social presence.

Content & Campaigns

  • Lead the social workstream for all central Brand campaigns.
  • Develop campaign toolkits for local markets, including key visuals, video concepts, motion templates, captions and creative guidance.
  • Produce high-quality social-first content and reusable creative assets that can be localised across European markets.

Community Growth & Engagement

  • Develop content that grows engagement across Joybuy's owned social channels.
  • Create opportunities to showcase genuine customer stories, community content and user-generated content that builds trust and advocacy.
  • Work with local teams to identify engaging content formats that encourage sharing, conversation and repeat engagement.
  • Support initiatives that increase organic traffic from social media to the Joybuy platform.

Brand Governance

  • Develop social media templates, creative guidelines and best practice to improve consistency across markets.
  • Ensure all social content reflects Joybuy's brand identity, tone of voice and creative standards.

Influencer Best Practice

  • Develop influencer briefing templates, creative guidance and measurement standards.
  • Review influencer briefs and content for major Brand campaigns to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Partner with local and integrated marketing teams to strengthen influencer storytelling and creative execution across the business.

Performance & Insights

  • Monitor social performance across European markets, identifying successful content and sharing actionable recommendations.
  • Produce regular reports highlighting engagement, content performance and cross-market learnings.

Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with local social media managers, supporting collaboration while respecting local market ownership.
  • Act as the central Brand contact for social media guidance and creative support.
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong social media expertise across major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube etc.), understanding the strengths of each channel and confidently recommending the most effective content and approach.
  • Proven experience planning and delivering engaging social-first content that builds brand awareness, drives engagement and supports organic growth.
  • Experience managing influencer and creator activity, including briefing, content review and performance evaluation.
  • Confident using AI tools to support social media planning, content creation and workflow optimisation.
  • Strong analytical skills, using performance data and insights to optimise content and recommend improvements.
  • Additional experience within specific EU markets (France, Germany and the Netherlands) would be a plus
