Manage site engineering for a civil construction project: set out groundworks and RC frame, support QA and as-built surveys, ensure site H&S compliance, report to the Project Manager, and raise technical queries.
Job Description
My client is a leading sub-contractor in the civil's and construction sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete a 6 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of ground works and an RC frame
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
- Managing QA and complete AS built Surveys.
- Site set up and compliance with health and safety
- Completing all setting out associated to the RC frame and ground works
- Raising technical queries on design issues.
Site Engineer Requirements:
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
- Previous experience setting out RC frames and ground works
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
