The SEO Operations & Local Search Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of Hilton's search visibility programmes across EMEA. 

The role ensures hotels, destinations and brand content remain discoverable across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences and local search platforms. 

Acting as the bridge between strategy and execution, the position coordinates agency delivery, content deployment, localisation programmes, platform optimisation, hotel enablement, reporting and governance activities that directly support organic traffic, bookings and brand visibility. 

The successful candidate will be highly organised, data-driven and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, agencies and markets. They will leverage AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, automate workflows, analyse information and quickly learn new systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

SEO Programme Operations 

  • Coordinate delivery of SEO initiatives across EMEA markets. 

  • Manage implementation roadmaps, priorities and timelines. 

  • Track programme progress, risks and dependencies. 

  • Ensure recommendations move efficiently from strategy into execution. 

  • Maintain governance processes to support delivery at scale. 

Agency & Vendor Management 

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for SEO, content and local search agencies. 

  • Manage work allocation, review deliverables and monitor quality. 

  • Ensure outputs align with Hilton brand standards and business objectives. 

  • Track delivery status and escalate issues where necessary. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability. 

Content Operations & Quality Assurance 

  • Coordinate deployment of search-focused content across Hilton digital properties. 

  • Support multilingual content and localisation programmes. 

  • Manage publication workflows and quality assurance processes. 

  • Review agency-delivered content before publication. 

  • Ensure content aligns with search, accessibility and brand requirements. 

Local Search & Hotel Enablement 

  • Support execution of Hilton's local search programme across EMEA. 

  • Act as a key point of contact for hotel teams and internal stakeholders. 

  • Coordinate training, communications and operational guidance. 

  • Work with vendors and stakeholders responsible for local search platforms. 

  • Support initiatives that improve visibility, accuracy and consistency across Hilton's digital presence. 

Reporting & Performance Management 

  • Maintain operational reporting and programme governance frameworks. 

  • Monitor implementation progress and business impact. 

  • Produce monthly performance reports and stakeholder updates. 

  • Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Support measurement of search visibility, traffic and commercial outcomes. 

Process Improvement & AI Enablement 

  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency. 

  • Use AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, content review and workflow management. 

  • Develop scalable processes that enable programmes to grow efficiently. 

  • Evaluate new technologies and support adoption where appropriate. 

  • Continuously improve operational processes and ways of working. 

 

Qualifications

 

Skills & Experience 

Required 

 

Search & Digital Marketing

  • Experience in SEO, digital marketing, content operations, local search or a related discipline.

  • Understanding of search visibility and content optimisation principles.

  • Experience of using Google Business Profile is essential

 

AI & Technology

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar platforms to improve productivity, analyse information and accelerate learning.

  • Ability to learn new tools and platforms independently.

  • Strong curiosity and willingness to continuously adapt to emerging technologies.

  •  

  • Data & Analysis 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

  • Experience working with large datasets. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. 

 

Programme Management 

  • Strong organisational and project management skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. 

  • Strong attention to detail and delivery focus. 

  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment. 

 

Stakeholder & Agency Management 

  • Experience managing agencies, external partners or vendors. 

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills. 

  • Comfortable working across multiple teams, functions and markets. 

  • Ability to influence and coordinate delivery without direct authority. 

 

Preferred 

  • Experience with enterprise SEO platforms such as SEO Clarity, Semrush, BrightEdge or similar. 

  • Experience using Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics or similar reporting platforms.
