Role Purpose and Team 

 

To support a website migration project on one of our largest enterprise client for an initial 6 month period.

 

We are looking for an experienced SEO manager to support a website migration project on one of our largest enterprise clients for an initial 6 month, migrating a site to a new URL structure for a large and very well-known retail brand. You will be working closely with an existing talented technical and account team collaboratively owning this project through planning pre and post migration. You will be the primary point of contact for the client, owning the requirements, project managing the roadmap and communicating with the client to ensure smooth delivery. Your role is pivotal in building a strong client relationship and delivering a successful migration. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead URL migration– Shape and oversee the migration ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements. Work closely with the wider team to ensure project integration. 

  • Drive implementation excellence – Take ownership of executing the migration with the technical lead to the highest standard, delivering a successful migration 

  • Client relationship management – Act as the main client contact providing clear updates, insights, and recommendations  

  • Ensure timely and quality delivery – Oversee project plans and roadmaps, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.  

 

Key Skills and Experience 

 

Essential Criteria 

  • Team leadership  Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate, and develop others to achieve shared goals. 

  • Strategic SEO expertise  Extensive experience delivering impactful SEO strategies for agency clients or in-house teams, with experience working across ecommerce migrations. 

  • Relationship building – Skilled at establishing and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.  

  • Project management – Effective at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards under pressure.  

  • Communication and presentation – Exceptional written and verbal skills, able to convey complex ideas to varied audiences.  

  • Analytical thinking – Highly skilled in data analysis, problem solving, and attention to detail.  

  • Commercial acumen – Demonstrates sound judgement and a strong understanding of business drivers and ROI. 

  • Adaptability – Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and responding to new challenges.
