We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, AI Product Manager to join our EMEA Innovation team. This role is located in London, UK.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Product delivery and execution

  • Translate business needs, discovery findings, and stakeholder priorities into product requirements, backlog priorities, delivery plans, and release scopes.
  • Support the delivery of AI-enabled products, agent-enabled workflows, intelligent automation capabilities, and decision-support tools.
  • Work with product, design, AI, data, engineering, risk, and business teams to move opportunities from concept to prototype, MVP, pilot, or handoff.
  • Coordinate across teams to remove blockers, manage dependencies, clarify decisions, and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Ensure product artefacts are clear, actionable, and suitable for technical, business, risk, and executive audiences.

AI-enabled workflow transformation

  • Identify opportunities for AI-enabled automation, augmentation, workflow redesign, and decision intelligence within specific business domains.
  • Partner with designers to convert journey maps, pain points, service blueprints, and discovery insights into practical product opportunities.
  • Work with AI and engineering partners to shape early solution concepts, prompts, data needs, workflow logic, user interactions, and operating requirements.
  • Use approved AI tools responsibly to accelerate synthesis, requirements development, prototyping, testing, and decision support.
  • Evaluate AI outputs critically and help the team understand limitations, risk, quality, and suitability for enterprise use.

Responsible delivery and measurement

  • Define and track product-level metrics such as adoption, time saved, workflow efficiency, risk reduction, user satisfaction, decision quality, or operational impact.
  • Ensure responsible AI, data handling, privacy, control, compliance, and operational resilience considerations are raised early and built into solution design.
  • Support testing, feedback loops, adoption planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Help create decision-ready materials for senior stakeholders, including product narratives, roadmap views, status updates, and handoff packs.

Collaboration and team contribution

  • Work fluidly across product, design, engineering, AI, data, business, risk, and engagement disciplines.
  • Support a culture of fast feedback, open challenge, shared learning, and high accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with engagement leads and analysts to ensure project rhythm, follow-up, decisions, and documentation are maintained.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to reusable product, AI, and delivery practices across the team.
  • Help build product capability maturity in the EMEA Innovation function.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Required experience and skills

  • Strong experience in product management, AI-enabled product delivery, enterprise software delivery, digital transformation, intelligent automation, or workflow product development.
  • Understanding of generative AI, LLM-enabled systems, intelligent automation, agent-enabled workflows, and AI-powered product capabilities.
  • Experience translating complex business problems into requirements, backlogs, prototypes, user stories, roadmaps, or delivery scopes.
  • Experience working with engineering, AI, data science, design, platform, or business teams to deliver product solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology concepts such as APIs, workflows, data flows, permissions, integrations, microservices, observability, and production-readiness.
  • Strong delivery discipline, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in complex, regulated, or highly governed environments.
  • Ability to measure product outcomes and iterate based on evidence.

Behavioural attributes We are looking for people who combine delivery strength with adaptability, judgment, and trust. The strongest candidates will be:

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations where the problem, owner, or solution path may still be forming.
  • Highly collaborative and able to work across disciplines without protecting narrow role boundaries.
  • Low ego, team-first, and willing to improve ideas regardless of who originated them.
  • Open to direct feedback and able to challenge others constructively.
  • Resilient when work changes direction or early ideas do not survive testing.
  • Curious and self-directed, with a strong appetite to learn new domains and technologies.
  • Strong at creating clarity, structure, and momentum.
  • Risk-aware, responsible, and thoughtful about the implications of AI in enterprise workflows.
  • Able to communicate complexity simply and support decisions with evidence.
  • Motivated by measurable outcomes rather than activity alone.

Preferred experience

  • Experience implementing LLM-based solutions, workflow automation, agentic products, internal platforms, or AI-enabled enterprise tools.
  • Experience with prompt design, AI output evaluation, responsible AI practices, model monitoring, observability, or data-driven experimentation.
  • Experience in financial services, banking, asset servicing, payments, operations, capital markets, risk, compliance, or data-intensive enterprise environments.
  • Experience in innovation, transformation, consulting, product operations, or emerging technology teams.
  • Product, agile, cloud, AI, or delivery certifications are helpful but not required where equivalent experience is demonstrated.

Success in this role Success will be measured by your ability to help the team turn high-potential opportunities into clear, practical, measurable, and responsibly delivered AI-enabled products or workflow solutions. You will bring pace, structure, collaboration, and judgment to complex work, helping BNY transform how work gets done.
