We’re looking for a Senior User Researcher who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby’s Tesco Retail Media team. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers. 

 

You will advocate for user needs, focusing on Retail Media’s analytics capabilities, and uncover actionable insights that drive strategy, product, and design decisions. Your work will ensure our products and services effectively address the needs of advertisers, agencies, and internal users. 

 

What you’ll be working on  

  • Design and execute end-to-end research projects using various qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user needs and behaviours.  
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to identify research opportunities and prioritise activities that align with business goals.  
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights, driving strategy, product and design decisions across the organisation.  
  • Create compelling and concise deliverables, including reports, presentations, and workshops, to communicate research insights effectively.  
  • Facilitate workshops to align cross-functional teams and foster collaboration in addressing user challenges.  
  • Advocate for the value of user research, promoting a user-centred mindset across teams and stakeholders.  
  • Collaborate with product designers to integrate user research into prototyping, testing and delivering final design compositions  
  • Mentor colleagues on best practices for embedding research into product development.  
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve the impact of user research. 


What we expect from you
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject  
  • Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives  
  • Proven experience with mixed-method research, with a strong emphasis on qualitative research   
  • Ability to translate complex data into strategic insights and clear recommendations.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.  
  • Skilled at prioritising and delivering research in ambiguous, dynamic environments.  
  • Adept at facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions to drive alignment and innovation. 


Nice to have
 

  • Experience in a B2B or SaaS setting.  
  • Proven record in conducting user research for advanced data analytics platforms  
  • Previous experience in the AdTech industry.
