Job Description:

As a Global Private Client Service Senior Tax Manager involved in both compliance and consulting on a variety of projects, strong technical and communication skills are vital to this role. Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with clients on tax matters as well as planning and implementing special projects. The Senior Tax Manager is responsible for the compliance function for clients including supervising the preparation and technical review of estate, gift, trust, and personal income tax returns.  

Responsibilities:

  • Your role will include identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities, preparation and review of client tax projections and calculations, management of client tax relationships and supervising and developing staff.

  • Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements as well as serve as an advisor to the client

  • Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and tax savings strategies

  • Research and consult on complex tax matters

  • Work closely with partners, managers and staff to integrate efficient standard operating procedures and practice development skills using a team approach to client service

  • Work with staff assignments and scheduling and meet client and government     

Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus

  • Active CPA license required

  • Minimum of five (8) years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend

  • High Net Worth Individual Tax Practice experience including working with individuals, trusts, estates, and gift tax

  • Proven engagement and staff management skills

  • Ability to manage and grow strong client relationships

  • Possess effective writing, communication and tax research skills

  • Experience with international tax a plus

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,500.00 - $267,500.00 per year.
