Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Cambridge - hybrid (50% fully flexible)

The Job

As a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist, you lead end-to-end hiring for technical EMEA roles, ensuring we attract and hire diverse, high-performing talent with pace and quality. You are a trusted advisor to hiring managers, leaders and People Partners, bringing strong expertise in hiring, market intelligence, and consultative partnering. You champion our global TA process, build proactive pipelines for priority segments, and support the regional TA team with your technical knowledge.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end EMEA technical software recruitment, delivering an inclusive candidate experience, creating compelling on-brand adverts, and championing our global TA process.
  • Proactively source and engage high-calibre technical software talent and build strategic pipelines across priority segments, using targeted, data and market-led approaches and continuously optimising based on funnel performance and hiring outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, leaders and People Partners, creating and owning hiring plans and guiding hiring teams on structured, inclusive assessment and selection to ensure the right role calibration and hiring decisions.
  • Provide actionable market intelligence and use TA data/funnel analytics to inform decisions, remove hiring bottlenecks, and deliver clear insights and updates to stakeholders.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrable in-house/corporate Talent Acquisition experience recruiting for highly technical roles within EMEA, especially the UK.
  • Depth of experience hiring into R&D, especially within Cloud and AI Software environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultative partnering skills; credible with technical hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Excellent sourcing and networking capability; able to proactively identify and engage top talent.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organisation, collaborating closely with HR teams and multiple key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of regional labour markets and ability to translate insights into hiring strategy.

Desired skills

  • Market knowledge & hiring experience across a variety of EMEA countries.
  • Experience mentoring/coaching other TA team members and contributing to cross-functional projects.

Hybrid working

We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote. The working arrangement for this position will be confirmed during the hiring process.
