R_358320 Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Talent Acquisition team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, providing consulting and advisory services across industries worldwide. We are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly individual to help recruit experienced hires.  You will be part of the Talent Acquisition team who support Marsh’s UK businesses and are part of a global function of recruiting professionals. 

We will count on you to:

  • Partner with hiring managers in Marsh to develop effective recruiting plans and sourcing strategies for each role.
  • Utilise proactive sourcing, headhunting, networking, and talent mapping techniques to attract exceptional talent.
  • Network with industry professionals across multiple UK regions, with a specific emphasis on developing relationships with top tier, diverse talent.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop strategic recruitment plans and provide talent market insight.
  • Analyse recruitment performance data to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and improve outcomes.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to reduce future hiring risk and support workforce planning.
  • Conduct thorough screening of candidates to understand their ambitions and match them to Marsh’s requirements
  • Provide substantive and competency-based feedback to all unsuccessful candidates.
  • Ensure an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Contribute to recruitment projects that enhance processes, candidate experience, and hiring manager engagement.
  • Partner with HR Managers and People Partners to ensure smooth recruitment processes and plans for now and the future.

What you need to have: 

  • Previous experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or Recruitment Agency Consultant
  • Recruitment experience gained from within the national UK Insurance market
  • Detailed and current understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing techniques
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), influencing and negotiation skills.
