At Joseph Joseph, we are driven by a simple yet powerful belief — that intelligent design has the ability to transform everyday living. We create distinctive, thoughtfully engineered products that not only solve real-world problems but also bring joy, beauty, and functionality to daily life.

Headquartered in London, we have grown into one of the world’s most admired houseware brands, with a presence in over 100 countries and partnerships with leading department stores, independent retailers, and a rapidly expanding e-commerce business.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join our Supply Planning Team. In this role, you will take ownership of developing and executing a robust end-to-end supply plan, ensuring optimal product availability while balancing inventory, capacity, and cost objectives. You will play a key role in driving supply chain performance across our Far East manufacturing base, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth and deliver operational targets.

With the majority of manufacturing taking place in China, the business distributes through five main warehouses worldwide to retailer customers, distributors, and direct-to-consumer channels. As a Senior Supply Planner, you will act as a critical link between suppliers, logistics providers, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence.

Key areas of responsibility will include:
  • Ownership of supply planning and inventory management for global distribution channels.

  • Supplier relationship management and performance improvement.

  • Managing replenishment, new product launches, and supply risk mitigation.

  • Driving service level, availability, and inventory optimisation targets.

  • Supporting business growth through effective cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and ways of working.

In addition, an important aspect of this role will be supporting the implementation of an end-to-end Supply Planning system solution. We are looking for someone who can contribute both operational expertise and process knowledge to help design, implement, test, and embed new planning capabilities, ensuring the solution supports future business growth and enhances supply chain performance.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop and maintain robust short, medium, and long-term supply plans to support business objectives, inventory targets, and customer service requirements.

  • Manage purchase order placement and supplier schedules, proactively advancing, delaying, or adjusting orders in response to changing sales trends, forecasts, and business priorities.

  • Lead supply planning activities for regular replenishment, new product introductions, and strategic inventory initiatives.

  • Manage purchase orders for components and consumables, ensuring material availability aligns with production requirements.

  • Own supplier forecasting processes, communicating demand and purchase forecasts to manufacturing partners to support capacity planning and supply continuity.

  • Identify potential supply risks, stock shortages, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances, developing mitigation plans and driving resolution through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Partner with suppliers and logistics teams to optimise container utilisation, shipment planning, and inventory flow across the global distribution network.

  • Monitor, analyse, and report key supply chain KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve supplier performance, inventory health, and service levels.

  • Implement and continuously improve inventory management strategies to balance availability, working capital, and inventory risk.

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of strategic suppliers, driving performance reviews, leading regular business meetings, and implementing initiatives to improve lead times, service, and operational efficiency.

  • Take ownership of supplier performance management, including KPI tracking, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Play a leading role in the S&OP process, providing supply insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting scenario planning to enable effective decision-making.

  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Product Development, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment across the end-to-end supply chain.

  • Support and mentor junior planners where required, sharing best practices and contributing to the ongoing development of planning processes and capabilities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and supply chain resilience.

What we need from you:
  • Significant experience within Supply Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, or Operations, ideally within an international manufacturing and distribution environment.

  • Proven ability to manage complex supply plans across multiple suppliers, products, and distribution channels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions.

  • Experience leading supplier relationships and driving performance improvements.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting principles, and S&OP processes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive mindset with a strong focus on delivering results and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and planning tools is highly desirable
