About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Perk, you will play a critical role in helping customers understand and adopt our spend management platform. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations, you will take ownership of complex deals, consulting directly with prospective customers to deeply understand their financial processes, organisational structures, and business objectives.
This role is for an experienced professional who combines strong financial acumen with a natural ability to sell. You know how finance teams think, what controllers and CFOs care about, and how to translate that understanding into compelling, high-value solutions. Technical knowledge of accounting & ERP systems and integrations is an asset, but the ability to build trust with finance and business stakeholders is what sets you apart.
What You’ll DoDiscovery & Solution SellingLead discovery sessions with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders, with a primary focus on understanding finance processes, pain points, and inefficiencies
Identify root causes of issues such as manual reconciliation, lack of control, poor visibility, and compliance risks
Translate customer needs into clear, practical solutions aligned with finance processes and controls
Build a strong business case by connecting product capabilities to measurable outcomes (time saved, improved control, faster close, etc.)
Partner with Account Executives to drive sales cycles, acting as the functional and solution expert
Deliver high-quality demos tailored to the customer’s finance processes, not just generic product walkthroughs
Present to a range of stakeholders, especially Finance personas (Controllers, CFOs), explaining value in their language
Support RFPs, proof of concepts, and workshops where needed
Guide customers through how Perk fits into their existing processes and systems
Act as a trusted advisor on spend management, expense processes, and financial controls
Understand and explain how expense processes work end-to-end, from capture and approval through to ERP export, postings, cost allocation, reconciliation, and compliance (including tax/VAT and auditability)
Ensure proposed solutions align with how finance teams need data to be structured and processed in their accounting systems
Understand how Perk integrates with ERP, HR, and payroll systems
Explain how transactional data (expenses, invoices, card spend) flows from Peerk into ERP & Accounting systems
Confidently discuss integration approaches at a practical level, including APIs and file-based exports
Work with more technical team members when deeper architectural discussions are required
What You’ll Bring
5–7 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing role in SaaS, or experience in finance, accounting, or consulting with strong exposure to systems and customer interaction
Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, with experience working with or alongside finance teams (e.g. accounting, controlling, payroll, AP/AR)
Proven ability to run discovery, deliver demos, and lead solution discussions with customers
Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and build trust quickly
Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, and the ability to explain how financial data flows between systems
Understanding of how integrations support finance processes, including master data and transactional data flows
A consultative, curious, and customer-focused mindset
Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on improving processes and delivering business impact
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Fluency in English and German is required; fluency in German is mandatory to support regional sales teams

How We Work
At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.
