What will you contribute?
We’re seeking a high‑impact Senior Sales Executive, to drive net-new client acquisition for Finastra’s Financial Messaging solutions. In this hunter-focused role, you’ll identify whitespace opportunities, open new doors, and win complex deals across banks, financial institutions, fintechs, and corporates.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Acquire net-new logos by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business within an assigned territory of UK, Irland and the Channel Irelands.
Manage full-cycle sales for financial messaging solutions (API-First Messaging & Connectivity, BERTI, Crest, Screening & Fraud Prevention, Instant Payments, Alternative X-Border Solutions)
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through targeted outreach, industry insights, and competitive positioning.
Navigate long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and close high-value, complex deals.
Deliver compelling value propositions tailored to client needs in payments, operations, compliance, treasury, and technology.
Provide market and competitive intelligence to shape prospecting strategy and improve win rates.
Influence internal stakeholders (pre-sales, product, marketing, delivery) to support deal progression.
Required Experience & Skills:
Proven track record of net-new customer acquisition in complex B2B or enterprise sales, ideally within financial messaging or a fintech or payments related industry
Deep understanding of financial messaging networks, ISO 20022, payment flows, connectivity, or related banking technology.
Strong ability to build pipeline from scratch using outbound strategies and market knowledge.
Exceptional executive communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage complex, high-revenue sales cycles with C-level and senior decision makers.
Strong industry network (banks, FIs, fintechs, corporates) is a plus.
