Who we are looking for: 

We are looking for a sales professional and future business leader with a demonstrable track record in software and solution selling, ideally to Public Sector customers. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, high-energy, natural relationship builder with strong leadership credentials, combined with experience in AI and Agentic AI solution sales, including the ability to articulate the value of emerging AI-driven and autonomous technologies. If successful, you will be responsible for selling Microsoft business applications, plus open-source and AWS software and professional services solutions across the Public Sector. You will also be expected to position and sell AI-enabled and data-driven solutions, translating complex capabilities into clear business outcomes and value-led propositions. 

We are particularly looking for someone who is outcome-focused in their sales approach, consistently delivering clear, measurable benefits to customers. You will be able to deeply understand, articulate, and respond to customer needs and requirements, translating these into compelling, value-led solutions. You will lead sales opportunity pursuits into existing and new Public sector customers. You will be responsible for developing your own accounts and new business pursuits, quickly forming effective and productive internal virtual team relationships with existing solutions and client services leads in pursuit of the Public Sector business plan targets. 

Your main responsibilities will include: achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets, opportunity prospecting, sales qualification, construction, execution and leadership of complex selling campaigns, virtual team management, pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting. This will include owning the sales functions’ contributions to proposition/bid writing involved in the response to structured procurement processes.

Required Experience: 

  • 5-10+ years of demonstrable success in selling professional services and cloud software based solutions to enterprise level customers 
  • Extensive experience of leading major sales campaigns, involving C-suite level engagement and influence, culminating in deal values between £500k - £2M+ 
  • Extensive experience of selling software design, development/build and test professional service solutions 
  • Extensive experience of selling Microsoft business applications and Azure solutions 
  • Experience of selling AI enabled, Agentic AI and data-driven solutions 
  • Knowledge and experience of solution selling into the Public Sector 
  • Extensive experience of successfully building, managing and executing opportunity, account and territory/sector sales plans 
  • Evidence of building sustainable sales success through a consultative, relationship-based sales approach 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills 

Desirable experience: 

  • Educated to Degree level 
  • Wider experience of the IT industry enabling you to productively participate in Kerv Group cross-selling initiatives, focused on delivering the full Kerv group portfolio and value-add into our customer base. 
  • Experience of selling open-source and AWS-based software solutions 
  • Experience of selling into both Public and Private Healthcare organisations, within the UK and an understanding of healthcare ecosystems, stakeholder landscapes, and the regulatory and commercial dynamics that shape digital transformation in this sector.
