Profile

For the role of Senior Sales Associate, we are seeking a candidate who combines extensive retail expertise with a genuine passion for luxury and excellence in customer service. The ideal candidate demonstrates a mature and refined approach to client engagement, serving as a trusted ambassador of the brand and contributing to the overall excellence of the boutique experience.

A professional who is able to illustrate the exceptional quality of the craftsmanship and materials with confidence and credibility, guiding clients through the brand's distinctive style and seasonal collections while maintaining the discretion, elegance and authenticity that characterise the company philosophy. In addition, the Senior Sales Associate acts as a point of reference within the boutique, sharing best practices and contributing positively to team development and customer satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities

As a key representative of the brand, the Senior Sales Associate is entrusted with delivering an elevated customer experience while embodying the company philosophy through every client interaction. The role requires a deep understanding of the values, craftsmanship and heritage that connect the work carried out in Solomeo to the experience offered within the boutique.

The quality we aspire to provide is expressed first through personal presentation and conduct within the store, reflecting the standards of casual elegance and signature luxury that distinguish the brand. Equally important is the ability to establish meaningful and lasting relationships with clients, offering a highly personalised service and acting as a trusted advisor throughout their journey with the brand.

The Senior Sales Associate is expected to maintain an advanced level of product knowledge, understanding not only the features of the collections but also the philosophy, materials and craftsmanship behind each creation. This expertise enables the individual to confidently guide clients through the collection, styling proposals and purchasing decisions, creating a memorable and distinctive experience aligned with the brand's standards.

In addition to sales activities, the Senior Sales Associate contributes actively to the achievement of boutique targets through effective clienteling initiatives, CRM utilisation and the development of long-term customer relationships. The role involves identifying commercial opportunities, supporting customer retention strategies and contributing to the growth of the boutique's client portfolio.

The position also requires collaboration with the Store Management team in ensuring the highest operational standards across the boutique. This includes supporting the coordination of daily activities, assisting with visual merchandising execution, maintaining impeccable product presentation, and contributing to stock organisation and inventory accuracy.

Through professionalism, initiative and leadership by example, the Senior Sales Associate helps foster a collaborative working environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a culture of excellence in service and execution.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should be fluent in English and possess at least four years of experience within a luxury or premium retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales objectives.

The ideal candidate will complement their experience with a combination of commercial awareness, relationship-building capabilities and a strong sense of ownership. The following qualifications will be particularly valued:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with a discerning clientele.
  • Advanced clienteling capabilities and experience in developing, managing and growing a personal customer portfolio.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistently high standards of professionalism and personal presentation.
  • Ability to act as a role model within the team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in achieving service excellence.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and collaborative approach, with the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic luxury retail environment.
  • Strong organisational and operational skills, including experience with stock management and boutique procedures.
  • Confident use of CRM tools and customer engagement platforms to support business development and retention activities.
  • Additional language skills are highly appreciated and considered a valuable asset.

Selection Process:

At Brunello Cucinelli, the person is placed at the centre of every process. For this reason, each application is reviewed with genuine care and respect by a member of our Human Resources Department, as we believe in the value of human insight, guided by careful consideration rather than automated processes.

Should a professional profile resonate with the role, the candidate will take part in a clear and structured selection process, beginning with an initial telephone conversation with a member of the People & Culture team, which may be followed by an interview with the line manager; any further steps will be progressively shared.

Brunello Cucinelli is committed to ensuring equal opportunities, nurturing a working environment that embraces inclusion and honours diversity, aligned with our corporate values.
