GLG is seeking a Senior Research Executive - Project Specialist to join our EMEA Tech and Growth Research team in London.

The Research team designs and delivers bespoke research engagements for leading companies across sectors including Technology, Financial Services, Payments, Information Services and Consumer. Our work spans a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including surveys, in-depth interviews, online communities, and other customised research approaches.

Working under the oversight of a Research Director, the successful candidate will take ownership of key elements of the research process and, with experience, independently manage smaller research engagements from design through to delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in market research who enjoys combining research design, project management, analysis, and client engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the scoping of new client research requests, helping determine the most appropriate methodology and research approach.
  • Design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research projects, including surveys, interviews and other bespoke research methodologies.
  • Develop and refine research materials, including questionnaires, screeners and discussion guides.
  • Manage day-to-day project execution, including timelines, recruitment, fieldwork, internal teams and external research partners.
  • Monitor fieldwork and research quality, identifying issues and recommending solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Review, clean and quality-check quantitative and qualitative research outputs.
  • Support analysis and synthesis of findings, helping translate research into clear and actionable insights.
  • Communicate confidently with clients throughout project delivery and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and client service.
  • Contribute to research proposals, project scoping, and the development of new client opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–4 years of experience in market research, gained within a research agency, consultancy or client-side research/insights team.
  • Experience managing meaningful components of research projects, with the ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Experience across quantitative and/or qualitative research, with an interest in developing across both methodologies.
  • Strong questionnaire design and research design skills; experience developing qualitative discussion guides would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing fieldwork, research vendors or sample partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience reviewing, interpreting, and communicating research findings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail, judgement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, Decipher or similar is advantageous but not essential.
  • Full business proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
