The Senior Project Manager is responsible for large, complex assignments, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and that objectives are met. The Senior Project Manager addresses business needs, manages resources and successfully navigates and delivers all aspects of the assignment.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of integrated digital campaigns across web, social, content, CRM and emerging digital platforms
  • Partner closely with creative, UX, strategy, production and technology teams to bring digital-first ideas to life
  • Structure complex, multi-stream campaign programmes with clear timelines, governance and delivery frameworks
  • Own budgets, forecasting and commercial performance across digital campaign portfolios
  • Develop detailed scopes of work, delivery plans and estimates aligned to client objectives and appropriate commercial models
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, clients, vendors and production partners to ensure seamless execution
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies and fast-changing requirements in high-pace campaign environments
  • Drive consistent reporting, communication and delivery excellence across all workstreams
  • Lead post-campaign reviews and embed continuous improvement across AKQA delivery practices

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Experience delivering complex digital campaigns within a creative or digital agency environment
  • Strong background managing multi-disciplinary teams across creative, production, media and technology
  • Comfortable working across Agile, hybrid and fast-turnaround campaign delivery models
  • Commercially confident, with proven experience managing budgets, scopes and resourcing
  • A proactive, solutions-focused problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Confident and credible in client-facing environments, able to advise and challenge constructively
  • A collaborative leader who builds trust and inspires delivery teams
  • Passionate about digital craft, quality and constantly improving how great work gets delivered
