Our Mission

We're not your average benefits platform; we're the unordinary force that uplifts people's lives. Our technology is the link that connects the entire benefits ecosystem, creating better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers.

Our mission is clear: we're here to create a world where everything operates at its very best, ensuring that every employee receives the support they need to live life to the fullest, both at work and beyond.

Your Mission

As a Product Manager at Ben, you will challenge the complexity in the employee benefit domain and constantly deliver value (benefit!) to our users by solving some of our most complex customer-facing problems!

We’re looking for self-starters who are seeking a fast-paced environment where they can make a difference. Our team is small, which means high autonomy, ownership, and responsibility. We love what we do, have fun and, while we ship on time, we take life-work balance seriously.

Things you will be working on…

  • Own Product discovery within areas of the Ben business, working closely with the Product Lead and other senior stakeholders to understand problems

  • Collaborating with key business stakeholders to help drive the product strategy and roadmap

  • End-to-End ownership of your dedicated product area, from idea creation to discovery to development to go-live.

  • Ensuring the voice of the customer is heard throughout the product development process, from speaking with our Customer Support, Sales, & Success teams, to interviewing customers

  • Maintaining the product backlog and running key product activities such as backlog refinement, prioritisation, grooming, developing user stories, etc.

  • Help us solve complex business problems by breaking it down to smaller pieces, finding truth & insights by going straight to the source and developing highly user-friendly products

You will love this role if you have…

  • Extensive experience within the B2B SaaS space.

  • A proven track record of delivering ambitious, complex products with full ownership that really hit the mark

  • You are a strategic thinker who combines commercial pragmatism and experience navigating senior stakeholders to deliver at pace

  • An entrepreneurial mindset - you are always looking for new product ideas to test and validate

  • Superb prioritisation and communication skills

  • Above all else, you LOVE solving problems

You will not love this role if you…

  • Aren’t comfortable working in a fast paced environment

  • Are not ready to own your own results and be held accountable

  • If you like maintaining the status-quo and aren’t willing to think outside the box

  • If you like a lot of structure and processes, we are a start-up and are still working things out and we don’t always know what’s next

  • Are not comfortable with ambiguity, we will give you guidance but sometimes you have to work things out

  • Wait for others to step up, or to be told what to do. We are a high-performance and high-reward work place and are looking for people who are proactive

Our Compensation & Benefits

It’s important to us to practise what we preach when it comes to our benefits. We know what good looks like and we want to provide the best for our team, with a comprehensive and inclusive benefits package.

We’ve built an offering that provides a selection of benefits across 5 key pillars: health & wellbeing, family, lifestyle, finance and social.

This means you have a choice over the things that are most important to you. You can see a selection below, along with the full offering here.

💰 Competitive base salary + equity, so you own what you build

💳 £100 monthly personal Ben Balance: for whatever works for you, whether that's Netflix, Spotify, or a really expensive cup of coffee! This allowance will increase by £50 for each year of service until you reach £250

🍔 Weekly lunch provided in office so you can spend quality time with the team over some tasty food!

🏖 28 days of holidays a year plus bank holidays, and an option to buy or sell 5 days per year. Also, your holiday entitlement will increase to 30 days at your 3rd year of service!

This should go without saying but all applications are very much welcome.  If you need any adjustments to support you with your application, just let us know by emailing jobs@thanksben.com.
