Senior Product Manager, VEED for Teams

Location: London

What is VEED.IO?

At VEED, our mission is to make video creation accessible to anyone. No hard-to-use equipment, painful learning curve, or keeping track of multiple subscriptions to take your ideas from record → share. With VEED, you can do this with a single tool.

In just a few years, we’ve gone from one user to millions. From no revenue to $40M+ ARR. From bootstrapped to backed by Sequoia, one of the biggest VC firms in the world. From a team of two to a team of 180+. And we’re seeking more talented, motivated and entrepreneurial individuals to join our growing team.

About the team

VEED For Teams is the beating heart of how our users create collaboratively. From small teams and agencies through to big enterprise clients the team develops the tools, flows and features to make them successful.

We’re a group of passionate individuals committed to quality, collaboration & innovation — we believe that everyone is capable of creating amazing videos, and we’re dedicated to making that vision a reality.

What you will do

As the Senior Product Manager for this team you will be responsible for setting the overall mission, vision and strategy for how our users collaborate on VEED to reach our aspirational business goals.

A champion of vision and purpose you will build excitement and conviction in your vision for the product both inside and outside your team. You will work with leaders at multiple levels across disciplines to ensure that we have everything we need to be successful, and are consistently working on the highest impact goals.

You will collaborate directly with dedicated design and engineering leads to define and scope projects to be delivered by a diverse engineering team. You’ll keep a keen eye on how your team is executing, helping them respond to a fast-moving environment with swift and decisive decision making.

We believe that customers are our compass, and you will regularly spend time interviewing our users to discover & validate your roadmap as well as work with User Research to deliver deeper insights and share findings with the broader business.

About you

  • An experienced Product leader who has led one or more larger cross-functional teams to deliver company-important goals
  • Excellent stakeholder management, able to deeply understand and align distinct needs from across different business leaders, pushing back and influencing other roadmaps as necessary to achieve shared goals
  • Enjoys the challenge of “green-field” opportunities with high ambiguity, with a track record of setting strong overall direction and rallying a cross-functional team behind concrete outcomes
  • Naturally curious, regularly spending time with customers to understand who they are, what they are trying to achieve, and how we can meet those needs and exceed expectations
  • Match instinct with data to develop strong insights and place bets both short- and long-term
  • A natural strategist with a high desire for action, balancing execution between what we need to achieve now with setting us up well for what’s next

What we offer

  • Monthly subsidy programme: Different people have different needs and therefore value different benefits. Providing this as a subsidy allows you to have the greatest flexibility to apply to what you value most - whether that be to offset the cost of a co-working space, office furniture, childcare, gym membership, etc.
  • Unlimited paid holidays: We value that you get more time with your family and friends.
  • Home office set-up: We have an IT Equipment program to make sure your home office is adequately setup with IT equipment including laptops, monitors, headsets/earbuds, keyboards and more!
  • Mental health benefit: We’ve partnered with Spill to provide all our employees with confidential mental health support.

We think what matters is people. After all, a company is just a group of people. We don’t care about where you’re from, what school you went to or where you worked before. If you’ve done exceptional work, we want to hear from you. Join us on our mission to make creative storytelling with video simple and accessible for everyone.

Country Hiring Guidelines: At VEED we are hybrid, enabling teams and individuals to design their day and integrate work and life. We are currently hiring in 2 core hubs: the UK and the Netherlands and 2 additional hubs for sales and support roles only (USA for sales and the Philippines for support). Some roles may require a specific location. Please refer to the individual job posts for more details.
