What if you could help shape the future of how software is built?

At OneAdvanced, we're developing new ways to use AI agents and intelligent development tools to transform how our engineering teams build, test and deliver software. We're now taking the capabilities and experience developed through this work and turning them into a product for the wider market.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help make that happen.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, software engineering and product innovation. You'll shape the roadmap for our internal AI-powered development toolchain while leading the evolution of the resulting product into a compelling commercial proposition.

You'll work directly with the engineers building and using these capabilities, turning practical experience and emerging technology into products that solve real problems for software development teams.

Your challenge is to understand what genuinely makes AI-powered software development more effective, establish where the greatest customer value lies, and build a product that teams want to adopt because it helps them deliver better software, faster.

#LI-DG1

This is a hybrid role based out of our York or Birmingham office, with the expectation that the successful candidate will attend the office weekly or monthly as required.

What You Will Do

Shape the product vision and strategy

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for our AI-powered developer tools and agentic development capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve software development through AI agents, automation and new engineering workflows.
  • Translate emerging technologies and internal learning into clear product priorities and a compelling longer-term strategy.

Turn engineering innovation into customer value

  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand how AI-enabled development tools are being used in practice.
  • Translate technical capabilities, developer feedback and adoption data into product improvements.
  • Define the developer experience, standards and quality measures that make these tools effective, reliable and easy to adopt.
  • Balance the needs of internal engineering teams with the requirements of an externally supported commercial product.

Build and launch a commercial product

  • Lead customer discovery and market research to understand developer needs, competitive offerings and market opportunities.
  • Develop the product proposition, business case, pricing and packaging strategy.
  • Define the route to market, working with sales, marketing and commercial teams to bring the product to external customers.
  • Establish measures of product adoption, customer value and commercial performance, using them to guide future investment.

Drive responsible, effective AI adoption

  • Stay close to developments in AI coding assistants, agentic software development and developer productivity.
  • Help establish the right balance between development speed, software quality, security and responsible AI use.
  • Work with engineering leadership to prioritise platform improvements, technical debt and investment needed to scale the product.
What You Will Have
  • Proven product management experience in developer tools, software engineering platforms, AI-enabled products or technically complex SaaS.
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, code review, continuous integration and delivery, and software quality.
  • Practical familiarity with AI coding tools and agentic development workflows, with the ability to evaluate their capabilities and translate them into product opportunities.
  • Experience shaping product strategy and roadmaps, using customer insight, data and commercial judgement to prioritise investment.
  • Experience taking a product from an early-stage proposition or internal capability towards external customer adoption.
  • An understanding of SaaS commercial models, including product positioning, pricing, packaging and go-to-market strategy.
  • The ability to work credibly with highly technical engineering teams while engaging customers and commercial stakeholders.
  • A strong developer experience mindset: understanding what makes tools genuinely useful and widely adopted, rather than simply available.

Why this opportunity?

This role offers the chance to work on a fast-moving area of technology with the potential to change how software is developed and delivered.

You'll have direct exposure to the engineering teams building and using the technology, meaningful ownership of product strategy, and the opportunity to help turn internal innovation into a product for external customers.

If you're excited by AI, understand what developers need to be effective, and enjoy turning complex technology into valuable products, this is an opportunity to help shape what comes next.

Please note, All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
