The Opportunity
We are a leading Fintech company seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Product Manager to own the vision and strategy for components of out Atoti risk and front office product suite.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining the "What" of the product solutions. You will ensure that our solutions not only solve complex business problems but deliver tangible commercial value to our Sell-side and Buy-side clients.
You will act as the bridge between the market and technology, translating the needs of Traders, CROs, and Risk Managers into a compelling product strategy that drives our growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Vision (The "What")
- Define the Strategy & Vision: Take full ownership of the product vision for the Atoti risk solutions under your ownership. Move beyond the backlog to define what we are building and why.
- New & Core Development: Manage the lifecycle of existing solutions while actively ideating and validating new innovative functionality to complement the suite.
- Strategic Balance: Work closely with Engineering to prioritize the roadmap, ensuring the right balance between servicing existing customers, core platform maintenance, and delivering new, revenue-generating functionality.
2. Commercial & Client Engagement
- Client-Facing Product Discovery: Partner with Sales and Business Development (BD) to lead product discovery. You will be the product expert in the room, comfortable discussing complex requirements with stakeholders ranging from desk-level Traders and Technologists to C-level executives (CROs, CTOs).
- Market Alignment: Ensure all new products and functionality align with broader commercial strategy and have a clear "right to win" within our target market (Buy-side and Sell-side institutions).
- Value Proposition: articulate the commercial impact of product features to the Sales and BD teams, ensuring our solutions are positioned to win business.
3. Execution & Delivery
- Engineering Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering team. While you define the "what," you must understand the software delivery lifecycle sufficiently to help plan the "how" and understand technical trade-offs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central hub between Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure successful product “go to market” and adoption.
Who You Are
We are open to two specific profiles for this role. You are either:
- An Experienced Product Manager who has managed Risk or Trading products within a Fintech or Financial Institution.
OR
- An Industry Practitioner (Risk Manager, Trader, or Middle Office Professional) looking to pivot into Product Management, who has a strong interest in technology and understands how software is built.
Essential Requirements:
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry, specifically within Risk Management (Market, Credit, or Liquidity Risk) or Sales & Trading. You understand the mechanics and the language (jargon) used in this space, as well as the end users day-to-day needs.
- Commercial Outlook: You don't just build features, you understand the commercial drivers of our clients.
- Communication Skills: You are competent in both business and technology language and are comfortable talking across all levels of an organisation.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to translate complex inputs into a clear, actionable strategy
