Job Description

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Lead Product Analyst (Individual Contributor) to join the Account Management team and Account squad.

The Account Management team builds and optimises Wise’s core account experience, making it simple for customers to open an account, hold money, move and convert funds, use savings and spending accounts, manage subscriptions, and connect external accounts. All in one seamless interface.

As a Lead Product Analyst, your mission is to deeply identify and understand the needs of customers engaging with our products and steer your cross-functional team to solve the most critical problems at a global scale.

This is an IC3 role. For more information on our Analytics Career Map and levelling structure, click here.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Compliance, Bankers and other cross-functional partners to improve the Wise product

  • Help your team make data-driven decisions and prioritise the most impactful opportunities to enable Wise to reach Mission Zero

  • Tie initiatives to the team’s KPIs to help guide the product strategy.

  • Be the primary point of contact for all data related questions within our balance data structure and have full ownership of the domain.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Technical Skills: 5+ years experience in analytical roles with strong data analysis skills (SQL & Python). Experience conducting regular A/B tests and causal analyses to determine impact of product changes on defined metrics

  • KPI Setting: Experience partnering with Product Managers and other Analysts to set KPIs and monitor the impact of new product features on conversion, stickiness and engagement

  • Influence: Strong stakeholder management skills - you are collaborative, know how to influence and when to say yes or no to maximise impact. You have a bias to action - you identify what needs to be done and make it happen.

  • First Principles Thinking: You can take an ambiguous, open ended problem, structure it and solve it. Ensuring the team is working on the most impactful opportunities

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Experience delivering high quality data and self-serve analytics using tools like Airflow, dbt and Looker.

  • Practically used + applied AI / machine learning techniques and built predictive models to get deeper insights

  • Knowledge of the FinTech ecosystem
