You will work within the European Ad product team to deliver the roadmap for our Samsung Ads platform in Europe, incorporating millions of Samsung mobile devices, Smart TVs and third-party connected devices within the Samsung home. They will play a key role in developing our market-leading publisher and advertiser platform for customers in 18+ countries.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Implement the product vision, applying go-to-market strategies and performance measurement of Samsung’s ad formats in Europe to design and launch new products while championing the current offering to ensure long-term adoption by advertisers.

  • Support the creation of a roadmap delivering revenue-generating ad products for agencies and advertisers by gathering requirements from our European clients, sales teams and internal ops teams.

  • Manoeuvre blockers in the delivery pathway, be it technical, legal or organisational, and think creatively and practically to resolve them.

  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to communicate product solutions to the sales team, including market launches and supporting materials.

  • Coordinate with our Biz Ops, Ad Ops, Privacy and Analytics teams to ensure products are operationally ready for launch, including pricing, campaign activation, billing and reporting.

  • Analyse data to review operational efficiency and measure success.

  • Liaise with the business teams in North America, India, MENA, APAC and South Korea (Corporate) to ensure global parity for our platform and products, while navigating the nuances in different European markets, such as privacy law, technical enablement, industry maturity, currency and language.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Understanding of mobile display and video advertising, TV OS ad formats, ad exchanges, rich media formats, ad measurement and ad industry challenges and issues.

  • Experience working in a product role in the ad tech industry, with a good understanding of media sales across mobile and CTV environments.

  • Strong understanding of GDPR and the considerations required when developing ad product solutions.

  • Excellent communication and partner leadership skills, across different teams, seniority levels and locations, including Europe, Mountain View and Bangalore.

  • Ability to combine long-term critical thinking with a need to meet business goals in a constantly evolving environment.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues, as well as translating commercial and business requirements into technical specification.

  • Excellent presentation abilities, both one-to-one and in larger groups, essential for product demos and partner meetings.

  • Experience working as or directly with internal or external agency account managers, advertising buyers, ad ops, advertising customer success managers.

  • Desire to build strong working relationships with peers and senior execs, and to embed yourself within sales, product, and engineering teams to earn trust and agreement.

  • Strong influencing skills, driving a sense of urgency and engagement throughout the organisation.

  • Experience in market analysis and working with commercial, marketing, and operational teams to build arguments and requirement documents.

  • Experience in creating product requirement documents (PRD) and working with global Product and Engineering teams in order to deliver the product roadmap.

  • Achieving measureable growth in revenue and increased client usage of managed ad products.

  • Positive partner feedback from stakeholders collaborating with the European Ads Product team.

Stage 3 = Behaviours (60mins): Panel with 2-3 Samsung Ads people.

Stage 4 = Presentation (60mins) Panel with 2-3 Samsung Ads people. Note: Stage 4 is optional, based on information and decision from previous stages.
