YOUR CHALLENGE:
  • You will co-lead, alongside the Engineering Manager, the Dispatching pod. Your role involves guiding the empowered and outcome driven team through the scrum process, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring each member can deliver their best work. The pod is part of the Data Products domain which consists of a total of 2 pods in which you have the opportunity to benefit from lively exchange and learnings.
  • This pod builds products which aim at optimizing fulfillment and utilization of the supply-side of our marketplace
  • You will autonomously build and maintain a roadmap for the pod which aligns with Blacklane’s business goals while using data to drive your prioritization decisions.
  • You will balance technical and process debt with the release of new features or enhancements to existing ones.
  • Previous work experience in the Dispatching domain is a bonus but not a must.

  • Seasoned Professional: You have over 5+ years of experience in product management. This journey has shaped you into the knowledgeable and skilled professional you are today.
  • Diverse Background: You've enriched your career by working at multiple companies, gaining a broad perspective and understanding of different working environments and cultures.
  • Team Collaborator: Your experience working with various teams has honed your ability to communicate, cooperate, and drive results in diverse group settings.
  • Proven Track Record: You've successfully launched 2-3 significant features, each over a span of 4-6 months. These achievements showcase your ability to manage complex projects from conception to release.
  • Creative Thinker: Your creativity isn't just a skill, it's a part of who you are. You bring innovative ideas to the table and turn challenges into opportunities.
  • User-Centric: You have hands-on experience conducting user interviews. This skill is crucial as it helps us stay connected to our customers’ needs and preferences.
  • Analytical Mindset: You're comfortable with statistics and can proficiently conduct A/B tests. This analytical approach helps us make data-driven decisions.
  • Goal Setter: You're adept at defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your ability to set clear goals and measure progress is vital to our continuous improvement.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in the dispatching, logistics or routing optimization domain. The hospitality or transportation industry is a bonus but not a must.
