Live across 22 countries and with 1 new user joining TrueLayer’s Pay by Bank network every 3 seconds, we’re in a very exciting growth stage. This is why we’re expanding the team across our offices in London, Milan, and Dublin.
Listed in Sifted as one of the 100 fastest growing start-ups in UK & Ireland, and CNBC’s World Top Fintech Companies, we’re trusted by industry leaders like RyanAir and Just Eat Takeaway for continued innovation within our payment products. To date, we’ve raised over $300 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Northzone, and Tencent. But this is just the beginning.
We’re looking for people who are excited about joining the Pay by Bank revolution and helping us change the way the world pays. Could this be you?
As Senior Product Manager – Credit, you’ll help shape the strategy and execution of TrueLayer’s nascent Credit products working closely with a world-class team of engineers, PM’s and designers.
You’ll operate at the intersection of technology, regulation and partnership, collaborating with merchants, platforms and internal teams to design experiences that feel effortless, even when delivered through complex integrations.
As our Senior Product Manager, you will:- Lead the zero-to-one product vision and roadmap for our new credit offering, defining the journey from application and automated underwriting through to disbursement and repayment.
- Partner with external data providers, bureaus, and financial partners to design high-performance integrations that power real-time credit decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with Frontend, Backend, and Design to build a world-class credit experience that feels seamless to the end-user while maintaining institutional-grade back-end reliability.
- Build and run a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, collaborating with Commercial and Product Marketing teams to move the product from initial pilot to a market-leading position.
- Collaborate deeply with Fraud, Risk, and Compliance to bake security and regulatory requirements into the product architecture, ensuring we scale safely without compromising the user experience.
- Directly engage with customers to validate pain points in existing credit solutions, using those insights to prioritize features that drive immediate value and long-term stickiness.
- Establish the tracking and analytics foundation for the product, defining the metrics that will measure success for both the customer (conversion, UX) and the business (portfolio health, default rates).
- Own the sprint planning and backlog for your dedicated engineering squad, navigating the trade-offs between rapid feature delivery and technical scalability.
- Demonstrable senior product management experience, with a proven track record of launching and scaling new products within fintech, lending, or highly regulated environments.
- Relevant experience in the credit or lending lifecycle, including an understanding of the credit licensing and rules environment. Knowledge of origination, risk modeling, and the nuances of receivable financing or revolving credit would be valuable.
- A "Builder" mindset, comfortable starting with a blank sheet of paper and creating the clarity and momentum required to bring a complex financial product to market.
- Technically fluent and API-first; you understand how to leverage infrastructure and third-party integrations to create a competitive advantage in credit decisioning.
- Expert at cross-functional orchestration, with the ability to align the "move fast" energy of engineering and design with the "calculated risk-taking" approach from a legal and compliance perspective
- Data-driven and experimental, skilled at using both quantitative metrics and qualitative customer feedback to iterate on a product in the face of ambiguity.
- Exceptional communicator who can distill the complexities of credit risk and financial regulations into clear, actionable goals for your team and stakeholders.
