LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.

Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.

What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.

With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

About the role

LemFi is the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve. We move money, store it, grow it and lend it across 21 countries - and Africa is one of the most strategically important regions on our map. As part of a shift to a regional product structure, we are hiring a Senior Product Manager who will own everything product for Africa: the corridors we run today, the ones we haven't launched yet, and the partnerships that make all of it possible.
You will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, design and business development. You will know the African payments ecosystem well enough to spot what competitors miss, make the business case for what we should build next, and then see it through to launch and beyond. This is a high-ownership role with real scope - if you have been waiting for the chance to shape a region rather than maintain a feature, this is it.

What you'll build and own
  • Own the Africa product roadmap end to end - corridor performance, new market launches, and the features that move the needle for African customers.

  • Drive partnership relationships that feed the product: work with local partners, aggregators and payment networks to unlock better rails and coverage.

  • Identify gaps in live corridors (think Uganda and similar underserved markets) and build the business case to close them - with data, not gut feel.

  • Work daily with engineering and design to ship improvements fast, unblock dependencies and hold the bar on quality.

  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, spec-writing and competitive analysis so your team spends time on decisions, not admin.

  • Synthesise customer feedback, compliance signals and commercial data into a clear product narrative that keeps stakeholders aligned.

  • Represent the Africa region internally - you are the person who knows what is happening on the ground and can translate that into priorities the whole company can act on.

Your experience
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager in fintech, payments or a closely adjacent space - you have shipped products that real users depend on.

  • Deep familiarity with the African payments ecosystem: corridors, rails, local regulation, and the nuances of cross-border money movement across key markets such as Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa.

  • Comfortable owning partnership and business development conversations alongside pure product work - you do not hand that off.

  • Strong data instincts: you can pull your own analysis, define the right metrics and tell a compelling story from the numbers.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment where specs are rarely complete.

  • A track record of building business cases and getting them approved - you know how to make the case for a new market or a new feature.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication: you can brief an engineer, brief an executive and brief a partner all in the same day.

Nice to have
  • Experience managing or contributing to payment corridor launches in West or East Africa.

  • Existing relationships with African payment partners, aggregators or licensed entities.

  • Exposure to a regional or multi-market product structure within a scaling fintech.
