Owns tuning and governance of transaction-monitoring, sanctions-screening, fraud-detection, and risk-scoring systems. Analyzes alerts, false positives, case outcomes, and transaction data to improve detection logic and thresholds. Translates financial-crime typologies into detection scenarios, documents decisions with audit-ready evidence, produces monitoring reports, and partners with Compliance, Investigations, Product, Engineering, and MLRO teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Build and own core identity, onboarding, KYC, engagement, SDK, and shared platform services using Go. Define architectural standards, API contracts, and data consistency patterns while improving reliability and observability. Lead systems from design through production, solve scaling and regulatory challenges, participate in reviews and incident response, and mentor engineers. Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to enable product development across the organization.

Lead global paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Google, and emerging platforms; build corridor-based budgeting and creative testing; own install-to-transfer funnel and incrementality (geo-lifts, holdouts, MMM); embed CLV/CAC payback discipline; scale an AI-augmented growth team and partner with Product, Data, Brand, and Compliance to convert paid users into retained, transacting customers.

Perform daily, month-end, and year-end reconciliations across ledgers, bank and card accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies; produce reconciliation reports; liaise with banks, partners, Customer Services and Engineering; support audits; monitor for fraud; and recommend process improvements.

Lead day-to-day reconciliation operations, ensure quality across bank, P2P, merchant and card reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies, manage SLA performance on disputes, drive process improvements and AI-assisted tooling adoption, own audit cycles and partner reporting, and present reconciliation insights to Finance leadership.

Own global people operations processes including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, probation, background checks, right-to-work, leave, benefits, HRIS data integrity, employee support, Jira ticketing, AI HR bot content, reporting, and HRIS implementation projects. The role requires process automation, accurate data management, compliance awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international startup.

Lead user acquisition and community growth for the UK Chinese diaspora through online campaigns, grassroots events, partnerships, and market research. Run community operations, represent LemFi at UK events, analyze campaign and channel data (using AI tools when useful), and translate insights into product and marketing recommendations. Be accountable for acquisition targets and ensure product and messaging reflect community needs.

Own detection, triage, and response for cloud, endpoint, and SaaS; extend DLP and identity controls; manage MDM/device compliance; run vulnerability scanning and remediation; translate SOC 2/ISO 27001/PCI/DORA requirements into technical controls and automated checks; operate Bug Bounty triage; build scripts and lightweight tools to automate security operations and audit evidence.

Own LemFi’s Nigeria commercial business across UK, US, and EU corridors. Lead growth strategy, revenue, pricing, partnerships, product positioning, customer acquisition, and cross-functional execution. Build and manage distributed growth, partnerships, and operations teams while overseeing budgets, P&L performance, and market expansion. Drive LemFi’s evolution from remittances to a multi-product financial platform through customer insight, strategic analysis, and AI-assisted market reviews.
