JUSTLIFE  ·  PRODUCT  ·  DUBAI, UAE

Senior Product Designer

Design the experience millions of people across the UAE and KSA use to run their homes.

Every month, hundreds of thousands of people across the GCC book a cleaner, a beauty service, a handyman, or a healthcare visit through Justlife. The moment they tap through — the trust they place in letting someone into their home — that is what you will design.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who treats craft and speed as the same goal, who has shipped consumer software at scale, and who wants to help build the most loved super app for home services in the region. You will have the room to own the problem, not just the screen.

The Role

You will own the design of our product end to end. Research, flows, prototypes, the shipped experience, and the way it holds up once real people use it, all of it yours to run alongside product and engineering every day. You report to the Director of Product and you get real say over what we build and why, not just how it looks.

The work spans every side of the marketplace. Clients booking and paying, professionals managing their availability and their jobs, and the internal teams who keep service moving. The journeys you could own sit across that whole picture: payments, availability, assignment, CRM, fulfilment, and the flows that tie them together.

This is not a role where you decorate decisions someone else already made. We want you in the problem early, killing weak ideas before they reach a screen, pushing back when the easy design is the wrong one, and owning the outcome the experience drives rather than just the screens you handed off.

And we want you working the way the best designers now work, with AI doing real work at every step, from research synthesis to rapid prototyping. We are pushing hard to become an AI native product team, and the person in this seat helps lead that shift rather than just keeping up with it.

Why This Work Matters

Since 2015 we have been digitalising home services across the GCC. Today that means 25K+ service professionals whose livelihoods are routed through flows you will design, and millions of households who trust us to make their homes run. Get the experience right and you improve both sides of a real two-sided market — a problem the regional giants cannot copy simply by spending more.

What You'll Do in Your First 6 Months

  • Ship a core surface. Own one area — funnel, matching, or payments — across UI and UX, and get it live.
  • Set the benchmark. Run a competitor and market study and define the design bar for your surface — measured against the best, not guessed.
  • Ground it in real insight. Run user interviews and service-professional (crew) interviews, and turn what you learn into shipped design.
  • Build AI into your workflow. Use AI tooling to move faster from idea to high-fidelity prototype, and show the team how.

How We Work

  • Prototype-driven. We put things in front of people fast and iterate.
  • Benchmark-led. We know what the best in the category look like, because we study them.
  • Research-grounded. Decisions come from user and crew interviews, not opinion.
  • Design-system mindset. Consistency and reusability, not one-off screens.
  • AI in the craft. AI tooling is genuinely built into how this team designs every day — from research synthesis to rapid prototyping.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

  • 5–7 years as a Product Designer on consumer mobile, marketplace, or two-sided platform products.
  • Strong UI and UX craft — a portfolio that shows clear ownership of high-impact surfaces, with the problem, your decisions, and the measured outcome.
  • A benchmark-driven approach — you can point to a time you studied the best in a category and raised your own bar because of it.
  • You ground design in real user and crew insight — show us a decision that changed because of something you heard in research.
  • Demonstrable AI fluency — you can name the AI tools you use, the exact steps of your workflow they sit in, and what changed about your speed or output. Generic claims won't pass screening; specifics will.

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketplace experience — two-sided dynamics aren't intuitive, and it shows in the work.
  • A startup or scale-up pace in your background.
  • A track record of building AI into the craft of design, not just into the product.

We don't require a design degree. We require a portfolio that proves it.

How We'll Evaluate You

We run structured interviews against a shared scorecard, so you know what we are measuring: design quality, speed of iteration, depth of benchmark analysis, the rigour of your user and crew research, and how you handle ambiguity and ownership. Every interviewer scores the same dimensions — no guesswork, no moving goalposts.

Why Justlife, Why Now

We started in 2015 by digitalising home cleaning in the UAE. Today we operate across 10+ cities in the UAE and KSA, with 200+ full-time employees, 5K+ service professionals, and over 15 million sessions delivered. The experience we have today got us here. The experience you'll design is what gets us to 10x.

If you've ever redesigned a flow that moved conversion, if you sweat the 200ms and the one extra tap, if you want your work used by millions across the region — talk to us.

Justlife is an equal-opportunity employer. We hire on craft, evidence, and potential — and we welcome applicants of every background, nationality, and gender.
