About Wheely

Wheely is a high-end ride-hailing service redefining premium transportation across major cities in Europe and the Middle East. We combine technology with the art of five-star chauffeuring to deliver a consistently exceptional experience.

As a profitable, fast-growing scale-up with $43M raised, we're expanding rapidly across EMEA and the US. We're adding exceptional talent to drive our next phase of growth.

Design at Wheely

Design is central to everything we build. We’re creating impeccable products that feel seamless and personal, from the app to the journey itself. We care deeply about quality, push for innovation, and iterate to make every interaction frictionless.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who shares our commitment to quality, has a high visual bar, and can turn complex problems into intuitive user experiences.

As a Product Designer, you will:
  • Drive design decisions as a self-directed member of a cross-functional team.
  • Lead the end-to-end design process from ideation to launch across mobile and web.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to iterate and fine-tune the product.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements, design system evolution, and new features.
  • Write clear, concise UX copy tailored to context and audience.

Requirements
  • 3+ years as a Product Designer on digital user-facing products.
  • High visual craft with attention to polish and detail.
  • Experience crafting well-balanced interactions that make interfaces feel natural.
  • Ability to design complex features while maintaining consistency across the product.
  • Technical confidence: able to understand engineering constraints and design within them.
  • Proactive in defining and prioritising UX issues: able to collect and assess relevant data, and move things forward.
  • Highly communicative and self-organised: able to clearly articulate design rationale and prioritise feedback to iterate rapidly.

What we Offer

Wheely expects the very best from our people, both on the road and in the office. In return, employees enjoy flexible working hours, and an exceptional range of perks and benefits.

  • Competitive base salary, plus a performance-based bonus and equity.
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Life and critical illness insurance
  • Monthly credit for Wheely journeys
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Professional development subsidies
  • Best-in-class equipment
  • This is an office-based role located in Hammersmith. Wheely has an in-person culture but allows flexible working hours and work from home when needed. In most cases, we expect team members to be in the office at least four days a week.
