The Senior Product Designer will create intuitive user experiences for data-driven products, collaborating with teams to design clear interfaces and prototypes.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with 6+ years of experience to help shape intuitive, scalable user experiences for complex, data-driven products. You will work on Ververica Unified Streaming Data Platform portfolio used by engineers and technical users, focusing on clarity, usability, and visual coherence across dashboards, workflows, and systems.
This role sits at the intersection of UX, UI, and product strategy. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to turn complex technical capabilities into usable and well-designed experiences.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role
- Strong experience designing data-driven applications, dashboards, and complex workflows
- Solid skills in prototyping and creating PoCs (low- to high-fidelity) to communicate ideas effectively
- Proven ability to design clear, usable interfaces for technical or professional users
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems
- Strong visual design, interaction design, and information architecture skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing products for cloud environments, developer tools, or enterprise software
- Strong background in data visualization principles and best practices
- Familiarity with metrics-driven design and using data to validate design decisions
- Experience working closely with frontend engineering teams on implementation details
- Exposure to UX research methods and usability testing
- Experience designing for scalability, performance-sensitive, or highly configurable
products
