- Leading the design of intuitive, elegant user experiences across Bonsai’s suite of products, including client CRM, project management, and billing solutions.
- Understanding user goals and workflows to inform design decisions that drive simplicity and usability.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, ensuring a consistent experience across web and mobile.
- Collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to translate user needs and business goals into clear, actionable designs.
- Developing and maintaining scalable design systems and component libraries. Conducting user testing and incorporating feedback to refine design solutions.
- Contributing to the evolution of Bonsai’s visual language and brand expression through thoughtful design and attention to detail.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility, performance, and responsiveness in all designs.
- Apply 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer, ideally within SaaS or consumer web applications.
- Bring a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional UX and UI design across web and mobile platforms.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Figma and a deep understanding of design systems and interaction design principles.
- Design for complex workflows, ideally within productivity, finance, or workflow management tools.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate closely with product and engineering partners.
- Show passion for crafting seamless, human-centered experiences that empower users.
- Value motion design, illustration, or visual storytelling as a creative advantage.
- Leverage previous freelance, agency, or B2B SaaS experience would be advantageous.
