As our next Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in making that happen. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of complex product areas and deliver high quality work from discovery through to implementation. This is a hands-on role for someone who can simplify complex flows, design intuitive end-to-end journeys, and collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to ship meaningful outcomes. You’ll balance strong craft with strong product thinking; running discovery, frame problems, prototype solutions, test with users, and push the quality of interaction and visual design in the team. You will be trusted to work autonomously, influence direction, and help raise the bar for the wider product design team.

Delivering high-quality design from discovery to implementation that drives results for our customers and trades.
Spotting ways to improve how we work by contributing to our design system and raising the bar for the team.
Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Content Designers to get things done.
Making sure every interaction is intuitive and leaves people feeling confident in Checkatrade.
It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:
Experience in end-to-end product design, with a strong portfolio of real product outcomes.
A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and the ability to work autonomously.
Strong communication skills and a curiosity to frame problems and solve them with data and user insight.
Confidence with prototyping tools, user testing workflows, and design systems, or the drive to pick it up quickly.
