Lead the end-to-end product design lifecycle in corporate banking, creating scalable design systems, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating in Agile squads.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our client, one of the leading banking institutions in the Middle East. This role is ideal for a design leader who combines strong UX thinking, design systems expertise, and exposure to AI-driven solutions.
You will work closely within agile squads alongside product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable, and impactful digital experiences—primarily within the corporate banking domain.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle: research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI delivery
- Design and evolve scalable design systems ensuring consistency across platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business) within Agile squads
- Translate complex business and banking requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Apply user-centered design principles and conduct usability testing to improve product outcomes
- Work on AI-powered product features, ensuring seamless UX integration
- Contribute to design strategy and innovation, especially in digital banking experiences
- Mentor junior designers and promote design best practices
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer / Senior Product Designer
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven experience building and maintaining Design Systems
- Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
- Solid understanding of UX research, interaction design, and usability principles
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) within cross-functional squads
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven product design is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in banking or financial services, especially corporate banking
- Experience designing data-heavy or enterprise-level applications
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design
