Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT Team. This role will be based in Gurgaon/Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

· 7+ years’ experience in Linux, OpenStack, AWS cloud, and Web server support experience including Docker & container experience

- Experience with applications hosted on the Linux platform, including WebLogic, Apache, and related components.

· Should have good understanding of 3 tier application and cloud architecture

· Should have strong knowledge on AWS components such as EC2, ELB, S3, Security Groups, IAM, VPC etc.

· Solid work experience on any incident management, problem management, change management tool

· Good experience in Load Balancing technology primarily F5/Big-IP with knowledge on etc.

· Should have implementation knowledge on various reverse proxy techniques such as Apache Reverse Proxy, Microsoft Proxy, F5 Big-IP Reverse Proxy (Rewrite profile), etc.

· Good knowledge of release management tools like Ansible and Jenkins

· Procurement/conversion/renewal/application of SSL certificates in PFX, CRT, JKS formats etc.

· Knowledge of Web Hosting n-tier infrastructures, specifically Firewalls, hardware load-balancers, SSL offloading, etc.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong delivery focus with ability to multi-task and work on various projects concurrently, meeting client expectations and deadlines

· Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

· Well balanced technical, client service and client management skills

What you need to have:

  • Participate in providing 24X7 support in OSS2 supporting RHEL Linux and Docker/Containers infrastructure
  • Participate in working closely with architects and consultants in setting up OSS2 infrastructure which involves installation and configuration of Kubernetes cluster , HA Proxy containers for application load balancing and failover, etc.
  • Interact with various infrastructure support groups like network engineering, load balancers teams, firewall group, data center tier 1 operations, UNIX Admin etc. and application development teams during issue resolution, change implementation, outages, etc.
  • Support issues like container recycles, disk space issues, process hung, port conflict, logs archiving, SSL certificate, expiry, etc. on Linux platform
  • Participate in writing support related Unix/Linux shell scripts for logs archiving, Container management, automation of manual tasks/email alerts, system administration tasks, etc.
  • Support operational excellence by identifying ongoing operational issues, root-cause analyses on system outages and identifying the relevant remediation plans to strategically address them
  • Ensure to have zero security vulnerabilities in the systems whether servers or applications. If any are reported, facilitate quick remediation basis this associated risk / severity

  • Experience of any incident management and change management tool like Service Now
  • Knowledge of various middleware technologies such as Apache, Windows/IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee
  • Plan and manage project staffing needs, timelines/schedules
  • Ensure open communication and appropriate information sharing. Build credibility in order to work effectively with various groups with varied and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, securing approvals when needed and keeping them abreast of progress and potential roadblocks.
  • Analyze, anticipate and mitigate risk factors and work with the team and stakeholders to minimize risk.
