As the scale and complexity of Deliveroo grows, we’re looking for a passionate and intellectually curious Senior Pricing Analyst, to join our Consumer Pricing team. This is a 12m FTC maternity cover. We are a central team with a very large impact, seeking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there around how to monetize our business while improving our value for money perception. Consumer pricing is right at the heart of the strategic direction of our global business - and you will not only have the opportunity to own projects end-to-end but regularly collaborate across multiple functions.

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to multiple strategic initiatives as our business continues to evolve rapidly: from refining our pricing models across existing and new offerings to determining how to provide better value for money for our consumers. Success in this role will require a great sense of curiosity, an obsession for our consumers, and an analytical eye.

You will be an integral part of our Pricing team, a cross-functional team composed of pricing business owners, product managers, engineers and data scientists who jointly set their objectives and work together to achieve them.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Price Optimisation - work with Product, Data Science and the local markets to identify opportunities to improve our Consumer Pricing processes and algorithms

  • Stakeholder engagement - oversee interactions around pricing performance and work with Data Science, Product and other teams

  • Planning - support the weekly and monthly reporting cycles, conduct root cause analysis

Requirements:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude, full of great ideas and willingness to get stuck in

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience analysing, interpreting, and summarising data (working knowledge of SQL preferred but not essential)

  • Good communicator and collaborator with a passion for building strong relationships and working cross-functionally

Why Deliveroo?

At Deliveroo, we are transforming the way people think about food and shopping.

When you first think about Deliveroo, you probably think of getting great food, groceries and shopping to your home in minutes. Awesome right? But behind the scenes is the real story. This story is one of high growth, huge challenges and an enormous opportunity ahead of us - a story we would love you to help us shape.

We want to be the definitive delivery company - the app you go to any time you have a hunger pang or last minute shopping need. We are providing people with limitless access to different cuisines, restaurants and shops, turning cooking from a chore to a choice, and giving people the freedom to eat and shop what they want, when they want, where they want.

We now operate in 10 markets, with over 100,000 riders who deliver orders from 160,000 restaurants and 13,000 grocery partners in over 500 towns and cities worldwide.

Benefits And Diversity

At Deliveroo we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare. We offer a wide range of competitive benefits in areas including health, family, finance, community, convenience, growth, time away and relocation.

We believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest growing companies in an incredibly exciting space.
