We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.

Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.

Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The Role
We are looking for a Senior People Partner, reporting to the Head of People Partnering, to act as a trusted advisor and coach for our Technology, Data, and Product teams. You will partner with leaders across these functions to build their capability and help them lead their teams through growth and change. In this role, you will also line-manage a People Partner, supporting their professional growth and development.

Your Goal? To ensure people are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll partner with business leaders and our centres of expertise to deliver People initiatives that support our scaling journey while fostering our unique culture.

At Dojo, we adopt a people-centric and iterative approach. We treat our internal teams with the same care as our customers, constantly listening to feedback and making improvements.
What you will do...
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, providing expert HR guidance to navigate growth, change, and complex employee relations cases.
  • Line manage, mentor, and develop a People Partner, fostering their career progression and empowering them to deliver high-quality support.
  • Use people data and insights to support workforce planning, diagnose problems, and advise on team structures.
  • Partner with the wider people team to deliver key initiatives across the employee lifecycle, from performance to leadership development.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping to build a sense of belonging in all people processes within your business areas.
  • Collaborate on key People team projects, contributing to cross-functional initiatives that support our continuous improvement.
What you will bring...
  • Strategic HR experience, ideally from partnering directly with leaders in Technology, Data, or Product functions.
  • A genuine passion for developing HR talent, with proven experience in line management.
  • The confidence to challenge the status quo and build strong, authentic partnerships as a forward-thinking coach.
  • Strong analytical skills to design and deliver data-driven people plans that align with business goals.
  • Agility and comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to thrive and be hands-on in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • A curious, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a positive "roll up your sleeves" attitude to get things done.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.

Our drive to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion is closely linked to helping employees thrive and innovating for better customer experiences.

If you care about your work, you’re curious, and you think customer-first, you have a place at Dojo.
